Or his dad or his mother who landed him the PS job. She wanted him home with her grandbabies.

There is only one person to blame and that was Joe. Jay should have been made to go off and develope in one or two other systems and I think he would have been seen in a more favorite light by the fans and other PS coaches.

The guy who really got shafted was Fran Ganter and part of that was his own doing when Fran didn't take the Michigan State job. IMO at the time Fran Ganter was the brightest young assistant and OC in college football. To say nothing of the fact that he was a tremendous recruiter.
