Why would the US want to sell weapons to China?

Trump Offers to sell arms to China

you know how to defeat them...remember Irag..they had HAWK surface to air missiles...we built them, knew how to disable their capabilities....

doubt China would want our weapons unless they want to reverse engineer them

[NoSeedsNoStemsNoSticks]

By comparing China with Iraq you just showed your ignorance.

[SeaPA]

My guess would be that a member of the trump family will get a commission for arranging the sale.

[What Would Jesus Do?]

That sounds like a good reason to buy some.

We already know they are crooks and traitors, so this is probably the right answer.

Probably because it’s old and antiquated by the time we are willing to sell it. No match for our good stuff

not sure how I compared anybody to anybody. You asked a question about weapons, I answered about weapons....

[firegiver]

Because the only thing that matters is money and we don't need to pretend anymore that we care.

Lol. Asinine.

And yet we sell our best stuff to Saudi Arabia, the world's #1 sponsor of Islamist propaganda and training academies.

At least we would get some money whereas Braindead Joey left behind military equipment when he left Afghanistan (also left behind 13 servicemen where they were then murdered).

To be fair, the 13 Servicemen were not “left behind”. We can certainly openly and passionately criticize the embarrassing execution of the Afghanistan exit and leaving behind billions worth of equipment (equipment that is currently being used to target Americans AND murder innocent Israelis on Oct 7) but we didn’t leave any servicemen behind.

Not sure about that, how did they die then?
