BS Post.
USC was not and is not a Top 10 team. On Monday they will probably drop out of the Top 25. BC is a bad team…Might go 3-9 with their only other win vs. Sara. UMASS would get blown out by every B1G team this year..except one of course.
Idk man...Maryland looks like they completely quit on the season...so 2 teams.

As we enter the heart of BIG play it's time now for Zinn to step up and stop the noise surrounding Greg so the team can focus and rally. We're playing hard and getting better every week. Let's put to bed the Fire Greg talk being brought on by many who don't donate at all. Those of us who give want Greg here.

Greg should be given the rest of this year and 2027 to get us back to a bowl.

1) It's the fiscally responsible thing to do given his contract.

2) Its the smart football thing to do. We're not that far off. We had bad qb play that cost us. That's on Greg but I would give him 1 more year to fix it. The players love him and play hard for him. We're going to win games. To start from scratch again with a new wild card coach is silly.

If greg can't get us back to a bowl by the end of next season I would move on. But he should get through '27 to prove it.
I think he was gone as soon as we hired KZ, she isn't gonna to stake her career on GS. She is looking to turn this around, get a HC in here and win 8-10 games in next 2 years and things will start rolling Tbis won't happen with GS here, I am sure she has a short list.

The excuses these goofballs are coming up with in this thread despite of 26 years of proof is astounding. Sad actually… Cult like actually.
Amazing how many people use emotion over data to make an argument. And when given data (even when they supply it themselves) deny the NIL data is correct. Northwestern 21-25 mm range is not correct it’s more like 25-30. Rutgers 21-25 is not correct it’s more like 19-22. Amazing mental gymnastics.

Zero chance Keli gives a dead man walking a vote of confidence. Her goal is to win not make sure Greggo’s feelings aren’t hurt. Schiano fanbois will never be able to admit he sucks
I wish she would.
It's usually the kiss of death once the season ends.

And $5 million is going to make that much of a difference???

UMass NIL budget for the whole athletic program is $3 Million.

You call it “mental gymnastics” while you and your Schiano Cult are “moving goalposts.”

This isn’t Lacrosse. Things are a lot more complex in football because of scholarships, NIL, selling tickets, TV ratings, etc. Lacrosse doesn’t have to deal with these things. Hell, the Lacrosse coach is a volunteer.
Glad to hear Brian Brecht isn't getting paid
. Brecht has led the program to 114 wins and made two NCAA Tournaments, making back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances in 2021 and 2022, and is a two-time Big Ten Coach of the Year. Brecht has led RU to three NCAA Tournament victories, including a Final Four appearance in 2022 and an NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals berth in 2021.
Also glad you pointed out the RU Women's Lacrosse HC is a volunteer position
Melissa Lehmanfinished her seventh year as head coach of Rutgers women's lacrosse in 2026. In just seven seasons, Lehman has led the Scarlet Knights to three NCAA Tournament appearances after RU qualified for just one in its previous 43 years as a varsity program. Under Lehman's guidance, Rutgers has produced 21 All-Big Ten selections, 15 All-Region picks and has landed 13 student-athletes on All-America lists.

Since 2021, Lehman has coached the Scarlet Knights to 21 victories over ranked foes, including the program's highest-ranked win in school history when it downed No. 4 Northwestern, 13-5, in the semifinal of the 2022 Big Ten Tournament. Lehman has helped the program to seven postseason wins (four Big Ten, three NCAA) since her arrival 'On the Banks.'

As for you:Your lack of knowledge of the sport of lacrosse is only surpassed by your obsession with cal .
I suspect you're a failure in life and jealous of cal who you feel is your better and trying to make him and the sport he participated in as useless as you seem to be.

Total BS Post. RU has more NIL than Northwestern and Iowa ( and a few other B1G teams including.Illinois) … https://thenilstandard.com/football/teams

It's astonishing. If it's not cult-like then it's certainly battered wife.

"Well it was a really difficult weekend for your father. He didn't get the extra money he was hoping for at work and you know how he gets when he's drinking. He said he's sorry. Deep down he really loves us and he promised that this won't happen again"

Ironically, it's a logical way the fanboys make arguments because there is literally zero data to support them

Still waiting for you to define carpet baggers in this example. But that term is diabolical regardless of your definition.
In my opinion, Tate and Zinn were brought in by some new gang trying grab control of the university, including the $80M per year in football money. Two mid level, dubious administrators have no place running RU! It’s embarrassing, and obviously done by those who don’t give a crap about RU. It’s a money grab.
Carpetbaggers: the word describes an outsider who moves to a new region purely to run for political office or gain power without having local roots.

I know what carpet bagger means. But Tate is far from carpet bagger. Man is an accomplished administrator. Not mid level on any scale. And was nominated via a worldwide search. Most of the problems over the years within this institution have been caused by a reliance on “local” roots over a complete resume, true expertise and experience. Way too many political appointees on both the academic and the athletic sides.

Similar to what she did with pike last season she shoud give an interview where she says Greg is getting this year and next year. That would put to bed the fire Greg talk and let the team focus.
