So, please explain this asinine comment. What concerns you about his parents being teachers.
My father was a teacher.
I was a teacher.
My son went into teaching and is now an academic advisor at GVSU.
Are you saying we are not hard workers?
Please enlighten me and change my opinion of you.

“Mr and Mrs Smith” is a reference to a married couple who are spies. It’s a reference from a movie.

Why should it concern anybody that HCMC’s parents were teachers?

I don’t want to insult anybody. I also don’t want to get into a whole thing about our education system or academia in general. This is not the time or place for that. I invited your response by bringing it up, so that’s on me. However, I’m still going to bail on this conversation now 👍

Oh, my bad. I remember that movie, with Brad and Angelina. I never did see it. Was it that popular?

Also, Becht may be the most experienced QB in college football, but has he ever been good? If Becht hadn’t transferred to PSU, we wouldn’t even know his name. The best QBs in his recruiting class are already taking snaps in the NFL.

We lost an entire recruiting class and half a team firing Franklin. I’m not saying we shouldn’t have parted ways with Franklin, but we needed a big name coach to justify the timing. Kraft bungled the entire process. I’m sorry, but Matt Campbell is boring. I’m concerned with his recruiting. Winning is the only solution, and I’m afraid we have a team of hard workers.

I like a curved hat brim. If I get a new hat and the brim is a little too flat for my taste, I flex it a bit to get the right curve to it.

Tonight I may go through each of my PSU hats and re-flex the brims to make sure they’re set the way I like them.

Tomorrow I’m going to get up and work hard at my job, and I’ll check in on my mom and my aunt who are retired teachers.

And if my brain starts trying to worry about any weird-@ss sh|t that it tries to relate to PSU football, I’ll tell it to stfu so I can focus and work hard.

And I’ll look forward to rooting for my team in their next game, and seeing how they can rise to the challenge.

Then you will see another side of MC.
And it ain't gonna be pretty.
But before fans get too critical, remember, he wasn't the first choice, nor the second.

Who referenced his family???
There were confrontations between MC and fans before and after games during his time at ISU.
They're available to view on the interwebz.
He can display a short fuse when things aren't going well.

I love people who are decades out of college and think they know exactly what kids nowadays think is cool or not cool. Yes, I'm sure if MC started wearing a dorky visor like Kirby Smart or Lane Kiffin we'd secure 10 5 stars within a week!
