That being said it was a dirty play, player should be suspended. Not just for the hit but behavior after.

You see Moore on a stretcher being taking to the hospital. Lincoln Riley and his team class less.

I was watching the Texas/Tenn game when that occurred . Just a reflection of the absurd “look at me” entertainment driven culture that we all live in. I thought Fowler and Herbstreit were rightfully critical calling it stupid and repugnant, especially considering how it hurt the team from a sack on 3rd down to a 1st down. The kid is enormously talented and is going to be a top 10 draft pick. Later, on the college football final show on ESPN, the studio commentators who are pretty bright, decent people were almost fawning over the antics because the player is so talented and had 5 sacks. The commercial aspects of ratings play such a large role in the excusing of this nonsense.

In the Giants/Titans game today, a Giants player grabbed the facemask of Cam Ward, was penalized, and admitted his mistake/apologized, things moved forward. That player took responsibility. That celebration yesterday over taking Moore was disgusting, and I would feel the same way if it was an RU player doing that to an opposing QB. Just not acceptable behavior in football in this day and age.
