Also, Becht may be the most experienced QB in college football, but has he ever been good? If Becht hadn’t transferred to PSU, we wouldn’t even know his name. The best QBs in his recruiting class are already taking snaps in the NFL.

We lost an entire recruiting class and half a team firing Franklin. I’m not saying we shouldn’t have parted ways with Franklin, but we needed a big name coach to justify the timing. During yesterday’s game broadcast, the announcers said a few times that Campbell brought 24 staff members over from isu. One announcer said it was more like 35. I don’t know what is typical, but who are all of these people, what do they do, how much do they cost? They aren’t all coaches. Did he bring women for a harem?

Notwithstanding yesterday’s abject performance, I think the jury is still out on Campbell and I hope he succeeds. Your comments about Pat “Amateur Hour” Kraft are spot on.

They have the resources to support a dominant football program. But no one has the resources to support a dominant football program and institute a sharing model where non-revenue sports get a chunk of the pie. That model doesn't work for football. You need to be all in and let the other programs succeed or fail based on performance
