Mateer with another TO…an INT…..in a weird way UGA has been a quiet #2 in the country….haven’t really heard much about them thus far but they also haven’t played anyone.

Watching UCLA cleaning Maryland's clock at home is giving me flashbacks of that drubbing Temple handed us at Rutgers Stadium early in Greg's first run as coach. Stadium is vacant. The few remaining fans are huddled under the overhangs trying to stay dry in a miserable downpour. Admittedly, the Bruins are a much better team than the Owls were. But, the beatdown is even worse. Not rubbing it in, just commiserating. We've been there . . . often.

Looks like Greg won’t be the first B1G coach fired this year

It sucks for them but whether it’s them, us or whomever, I’ll say there’s hope like never before in this new CFB landscape.

I’ve said many times things can turn around quick like in a year or two with some diligence and luck if you can land on the right person.

UCLA is beating them down and it’s still early in the season but they’re a potential example of how quick fortunes can change. Chesney has never coached on the west coast before either.

For anyone in this new landscape, there’s always a chamce for a potential rainbow after the storm.

Locksley might be a goner by tomorrow. UCLA on the other hand may be the most improved team in the nation.

Baugh TD for UF 17-3 on Ole Miss

What a turn around that would be if they could do that. Still a ways to go.

Toledo is now 3-1 with new coach Mike Jacobs. Yes, I know Toledo is one of the best in the MAC, but they continue to make good choices in head coaches.

42-8(35-5) at Notre(Dame(OH) D2
32-9(23-5) at Lenoir Rhyne D2
20-6(13-1) at Mercer FCS
94-23(71-11)

Good head coaching is good head coaching, any level.

IMO, Joe Woodley is the only choice at 80-9(36-1) to me, I don't care it was at NAIA.

Boise TD…22-0 on WMU…win over Memphis and now probably on the road at WMU puts them in a good position in the G6

Big penalty on Michigan for a stupid shove out of bounds that gives Iowa a desire down on 3rd and 12…17 secs left at the UM 45

Iowa squeezes out every last drop of whatever talent they have and they’re well coached and ready for whatever situation arises on the fly…often right place right time…it happens too often for it to be just chance.

UF up 52-28 on Ole Miss

And to think quite a bunch of UF fans didn’t like the Sumrall hire….right now his best decision looks like hiring Faulkner as OC.

Faulkner’s style would’ve been a good choice for Michigan too the way they like to play but Whittingham naturally would bring his Utah OC with him.
