Nominate: The Week 6 State Wide Coach of the Week

[Edgytim]

I'm looking for the Week 6 State Wide Coach of the Week. Please post your worthy nominees here. Please also provide any sort of support material (stats/story etc>) and build a case why this head coach deserves the award.

[RockSoup]

St. Rita Head Coach Martin Hopkins orchestrates a second half comeback for the ages, calling for two 2-point conversions and two 3rd quarter onside kicks. It was as gutsy a called game as I've seen.

[Patrick Devitt]

Anna-Jonesboro Head Coach Joel Dallas. The Wildcats ended a 24 game losing streak last night after beating Pinckneyville.

[LakeCtyNewt]

Coach McNulty of Warren. Devils were left for dead at 0-3. Now 3-3 and he won his 100th game last night

[Colin2299]

Boone Thoregson - Geneva

I usually try not to be a "homer" when it comes to this thread. In the past, I have nominated other coaches "other" than Rita coaches.

In this case, as RockSoup argued his points, I agree. Martin Hopkins. The kids were down two scores against an offense that could put 50 points on the board easily. But, they didn't put 50 points on the board because Coach Hopkins had a great gameplan to keep that great offense off the field at times. And in this game, it worked.

I'm pretty sure he's won the award before but I will check.

[JolietWest90]

Tom Hart of Joliet Central.

Coach Q at BR. Only a handful of starters with significant playing time from last year. Two loses to LA and LWE by a combined 4 points. Held it together and coached a near flawless game against MC.
