What are your concerns for today vs Wisconsin?

Offensively:
-If Riker (Center) can't play, how does the back-up Center (IK) play?
-Does Zay Robinson have an impact in the slot in place of injured Howard?
-Will the run game be effective?
-If Rapplyea doesn't play, can the other three combine to effectve block and remain receiving threats?
--How does Becht spread the ball around?

Defensively:
-Can QB Colton Joseph be limited in his scrambling and designed runs?
-Can the PSU DEs maintain consistent pass rush pressure enough to force QB Joseph to make bad throws?
-Will the healthier DT rotation continue to do well against the run?
-Will Tatsch (back-up LBer) be able to increase his snap count?
-Can PSU force a key gamechanging turnover?

Special teams:
-Will punter be able to flip the field when needed?
-Does Zay Roinson continue his punt return effectiveness?

YOURS?

The concern is that Wisconsin is getting healthier and PSU has injuries to their best WR, best blocking TE, best DE, and best C.

I've read that Joseph gets rid of the ball faster than any other BiG QB. PSU has been burned by quick release / running QBs in recent years including Smolik at Temple this year. There's nothing worse than a blitz that doesn't get home because that leaves empty space for long QB runs. I'd focus on keeping Joseph in the pocket (DEs sealing the edge) and keeping a LB in the middle of the field. We have a good chance if we eliminate his run threat because he's not a great passer.

PSU did well stopping Del Rio Wilson runs. We need that again today.

Agree, I think you want their qb to throw, rather than scramble in passing situations. He’s not real accurate. The challenge will be to shut down their designated QB run game. I like that we have Rojas and now a healthy Tasch.
I’m not as concerned regarding Koby. He will be missed but we have a lot more weapons to spread the ball around. I will be very interested in how well we can run the ball. While NW gave Indiana a game last night their downfall was not stopping the run. Controlling the LOS is still the most important factor in win vs lose.

Windy therefore the run game.
It’s windy in the eastern part of the state, but according to AccuWeather, the winds are only 9 mph currently in State College and 10 mph at game time. That’s really not bad at all. That’s not enough to really impact the passing game.

I thought I read somewhere that Wisky has 4 starters out.

Containing QB Colton Joseph's running ability. Contain him and we win. Allow him to get free and we're stressing for 4 Quarters.

My wife and I have dinner plans tonight at 7:30. I really hope I'm not stressing at dinner.

According to phone weather, there are wind gusts up to 29 mph. But all I know is what I read on the phone.

My concern is whether I throw on my sweatshirt before going into the stadium or not. Wind has picked up a bit over the last couple hours.

We lost Kobe so the season is over. Just like last year when we lost Tony.

Because when you lose one player your season is over.
