We are not getting a real coach with our present level of support because it’s too much work to recruit. Obviously we wouldn’t be a developmental program any longer.

Saturdays result gives me hope. If we play with the same effort and determination, we will win some games. Priority #1 is cutting down on the turnovers. Dylan Lonergan wasn’t used to USC speed, so he tried to rifle the ball into Duff, which allowed the USC player to jump the route and return the ball for a Pick-6. The safety was reading his eyes the whole time, and Dylan stared down the receiver, leading to the turnover.

Thankfully, no one else has USC talent or athleticism, so hopefully we will continue to cut down on the turnovers.

That’s a final record of 6-6. Beating Indiana, though not expected, would make things a lot easier.

You continually miss the mark but claim to know everything. The money is coming from businesses that Keli and SKE are courting not 1,000 fans. Fans contributions would only go to revenue share, but the school is funding that at 100% of what's allowed whether the contributions are there or not.

Unless you are involved in the discussions to fund this money, you're talking out of your rear, as usual, about what's available and trying to pass it as facts. There would be no Brian Kelly smoke if the money wasn't there.

The "we're a developmental program" is a cover story. Greg took too many chances on guys that flopped. He had a good 1st recruiting class and then before NIL became what it is today had awful results recruiting guys on defense with the next 3 recruiting classes. This left the program with no depth at all three levels and then the lack of funds compounded things. Something you refuse to acknowledge.

What does it say when a defensive coach can't recruit and develop guys on his side of the ball? Yet his offensive staff stocked up great skill position players even if the QB & OL results have been mixed. We went from being a defense first program to an offense first program because of these failures and that is the only reason Greg's lasted this long. Otherwise he would have been fired a year or two ago.
