There’s no evidence in any of my posts to conclude that I hate Muslims. This is childish and silly. Mac said some things about Muslims not being able to run for office. I disagreed and pointed to the Constitution.
But here’s the best part: at no point did I use the word bigot, ignorant, pathetic, etc. You’re helping no one by continuously dipping into the well of incendiary rhetoric . It cheapens the causes for which you’re fighting.

So in looking up past alleged indiscretions, it became apparent that it wasn’t the best use of time. The alleged victim even said no one “ would find anything”, which turned out to be prophetic because no one did. Of course, no one looked so there’s that.

Speaking of 14, Datt posted just like him last night/this morning. Both got off the rails, and made it personal. I mean this when I say Datt has officially lost it. Not that he has ever been all put together, but he is cringeworthy right now. Just like 14 was.

He has tried to turn the tables on you, to suggest that you’ve done something to deserve this betrayal, this violation of trust. Yes, he’s been accused of mental breakdowns before based on his childish rants of yore, but this feels different. A disregard for others that borders on the psychopathic. What started out as a catch all thread quickly morphed into a political one. Now it resembles a psychiatrist’s couch more than anything.

Yeah, I've been scratching my head wondering what led to this. I know he and I will never be confused with being buddy's or anything, but wow. I went back and read our private message, which I did initiate, to see what we both said. Datt gave a polite reply, with both of us saying we'd do better. I won't go into detail because it was a private conversation.
My reaching out to him though was based off a post that he made years ago (in this thread I think) about his own private life. He laid some heavy stuff out for all to read. Honestly, I admired him for that, and made reference to that prior post from years ago.

I thought my private message to him would stay just that, private. Boy was I wrong.

I don’t remember 14 being consistently unhinged, although he clearly had his moments, especially about Covid. It’s a shame we can’t just all hang out and agree to disagree. But you can only be personally attacked for so long until you say enough is enough.
Looking back on old posts, some of the old timers laid the groundwork for the type of rhetoric that’s commonplace now. A lot of posts began with something like “Is anyone dumb enough to…?” Essentially disagree with the poster Ha ha
It’s a form of moral shaming. It’s not an invitation to debate, has little to do with civil discourse, it’s moral shaming. This thread has gone by the wayside in large part due to this, that and the personal attacks we’ve seen lately.

As usual, you're wrong. I've said some harsh things to him and you, and you both have done more than your fair share as well. No argument that a lot of times our posts are immature, but there's a line we don't cross. I've never said anything about your family, and neither have you about mine. @Ghost of Dattier crossed that line. That's not even debatable. He did the same thing that families that have dysfunction do when they get mad. They leave the issue, and move to trying to embarrass/hurt the one they're arguing with. He did exactly that, and no fair minded person would agree with what he did. Even with what he said, I could have retaliated, but chose to keep his family out of it.

I've posted here for years, and have had many battles with Datt. But last night, this morning? He was without a doubt unstable.
