What's the best pregame speech you've ever actually heard?

[Ibsnoman]

Not the movie ones. A real one, from a real coach, that you still remember years later.

I made a short thing on this subject over the weekend. 71 seconds, and I'm not going to describe it. Watch it all the way through — it seems like it ends before it does.

But I'm curious who's got a real answer.

I played high school football in a small, rural NC town. My freshman year we played a very prestigious private school in a week 2 non conference game. Right before our coach lead us out of the locker room to run on the field, he read us a letter that he “allegedly” received in the mail earlier that week from a parent whose kid played for the prestigious private school. The “alleged” parent “wrote” about how poor our players and families were, how we didn’t practice proper hygiene, how the school was going to pay to have our locker room professionally sanitized, and how our “kind” shouldn’t be allowed on their campus much less be considered for admission to their prestigious school. We took the field and beat the absolute hell out of them.

I'm not sure if this is the one I remember, but it's another awesome gem.

I am too dumb to find it But I heard a post game rant by Bob Knight directed at the Wisconsin locker room Badgers had upset Indiana and Bob came in to congratulate them post game.
Basically along the lines of "I have watched all your games so far on film. And never once have you played half this F%^&ing hard. No why don't you listen to your F%^&ng coaches and play this way all year and accomplish something ............."
