Here is a small and kind of stupid story. I was drum major of the marching band when I was at TU. We were standing on the sidelines ready to march out onto their field. I was near the wall and someone from the stands, reached over the wall and took my hat off my head and they started throwing it around the student section. It really pissed me off. Stupid, I know, but it really stuck with me how mad I was.

Arkansas has not won a game against TU in Tulsa since Nov 1947! Next year they will try to break the 80 year curse FWIW! When schools don’t play every year home and home these stats are kind of meaningless.

If I had a drink on me I'd have thrown it on the pig f*kers in the stands. I would of loved it if it was grape nehi.

A few other of the poor officiating - 1978 down by 8 and with TU moving the ball, the clock ran 2-3 seconds after every time out, incompletion or out of bounds and started before every snap. Cooper was screaming at the officials who ignored it. IIRCC 1982 Brent Dennis returned a punt or interception for a TD as he crossed the end-zone a referee then throw a flag back at the 40 yard line calling a hold. Officials rarely impact the game except at Arkansas and Navy!
