Kiffin (13m per year) vs Elko (11.5m per year)... and when the clock strikes zero in Baton Rogue, one of those coaches will be 0-2 in the sec and 2-2 overall.

....and on the outside of the playoffs ... probably.

Whoever loses this is out of the playoffs. No way either one of them goes undefeated after.

im praying for an LSU loss. aTm will lose to at least Texas. I want the chaos and misery that will come with LSU shatting the bed with Kiffen

LSU fired Brian Kelly mid-season last year after losses to Miss., A&M, and Bama.

Since then, they committed to Kelly's buyout, gave Kiffin a $91 MM guaranteed contract, and bought one of the most expensive rosters in CFB.

They already lost to the Rebels. They could lose to A&M. In November, they play Bama, UT, and UT in consecutive weeks.

I'm not saying Kiffin could be on the hot seat, but he needs to show a little ROI.

And their president is saying the spending is out of control and they need to stop the bleeding.

I want LSU to be a dumpster fire. But I would've really preferred them to be a dumpster fire after turning Ole Miss into a dumpster fire last week.

Hey Kiffin, thanks, assho1e.

What makes it worse is Kiffin is less of a coach than the man he replaced..

It really is glorious what's happening in Baton Rouge.

Just wish it would have been Oxford. They did the smart thing promoting Golding and not panicking after Lane broke their hearts.

You guys rooting against Kiffin puzzle me. Kiffin doing well would infuriate OM. So I'm hoping he wins out except for against us. The more pain they experience the better.
Had LSU taken care of business last weekend I would agree with you. Now it seems like LSU tanking would take a lot of the shine off of last week's game in Oxford.

One team has to lose. They currently are both 2-1 overall, 0-1 in conference.
Hang on here...ha, do you not know about the newly implemented rule change? You probably missed it since you were too focused on all the NIL rules/lawsuits/legislation.
Obviously, whichever coach loses this weekend will use their program's mulligan and remove either last weekend's loss or this weekend's loss from their record.**
Therefore, it is possible for both coaches to not be 0-2 after this weekend despite playing each other. And it is possible for both teams to be on the inside for making the playoffs after this weekend.

A game lost due to injuries is an easy decision to mulligan.

If we can't win it all, I would love nothing more than for Kiffin to. Ain't happening, but it would be glorious.

I don’t know. Crazy thought here. Maybe I want the team that we play two times in the next four years to be bad and I care less about Ole Miss’s feelings?

Outside of Arkansas any team can beat any team in the SEC this season. Deepest the conference has been in a while and dumbass Stinky made every team in the conference schedule 9 SEC games and a P4 game. A really good SEC team will be left out.

Setting the Gene's Page name insult aside, how could he have known the SEC would be this deep(if it actually is...its only been 3 games)?

Anyways, given the excellent teams in the Big10, ACC, and Big12 this season, if 5 SEC teams make it as of now- that seems pretty damn reasonable.
If 6 SEC teams make it, that leaves just 1 spot for an at large team from the ACC, Big10, or Big12.

1 SEC champ- auto
1 ACC champ- auto
1 Big12 champ- auto
1 Big10 champ- auto
1 ND ends in top 12- auto
1 top G6 team- auto
5 more SEC teams- at large
1 OPEN SPOT- at large
