Connelly thinks we will go to Indiana and the other two think we will open in the Horseshoe.

I could see it. Can't have any more injuries. OL has to gel and improve. I assume 9 and 3 won't be good enough. Even optimistically its hard for me to see 10 and 2. LSU and Bama are possible.wins. Texas or OM will be tough

I now think we will win the remaining home games. I was probably the most optimistic on this board preseason. I genuinely predicted 8-4 (still might). We are better than I thought. We are one left tackle away from being able to score on basically every drive, which explains why we went so hard after that guy in the portal. My only concerns at this point is @LSU @UT and @OM. However, if we can go 1-2 in those 3, CFP bound. Even I would not have fathomed that preseason.

I’m a bulldog through and through. Maybe that’s why I can’t see it. 6 to 7 wins feels real. 10 would be literally amazing and Lebby would be national coach of the year with K1 winning the Heisman..

I can't see it either. I'm just waiting on that game where some random player/s absolutely carve up our defense and figure something that they can't stop. I have a 7-win feeling about this team and a mid-tier bowl. Cautiously optimistic, but absolutely worried like hell for that meltdown.

I think next year is the year but if we were to make the playoffs, there are some posters here who would need a padded room.

No I just don’t care about prognostication. If we win then great. If we don’t then that’s ok too. I just don’t care about pointless guessing that has no basis in reality

10-2 with our schedule & we’re in. VERY long way to go to even think about it though. Let’s talk again after the Alabama game.

Defense is a concern. Especially with DL injuries. We’ve given up some long ground based drives to a could have lightweights.

We have a real chance to make the CFP. Our offense gives us a chance in every game.

Egg Bowl could be two teams with their tickets already punched. Winner hosts First Round; loser is on the road though.

That preseason State Northwestern playoff parlay is gonna payoff my house.
Which is a shame because it's gonna take a second mortgage and selling your wife's boyfriend's prosthetic leg to afford tickets to our CFP game.

This entire college football season could build towards Kamario vs Chambliss in the Egg Bowl.

There are a million story angles in that game if it’s two 9 / 10 win teams.

With our schedule 9-3 might get you there. What's crazy the way the committee thinks the Minnesota could be the deciding factor in us getting into the playoff at 9-3. They take going into Big 10 country and winning seriously.

So I don’t think that’s an actual projection for the rest of the season. I think that’s a “who would be in the Playoff as of today if you used performance to date”.

Bama is a very different thing than Minnesota, South Carolina & Missouri. Even today’s non Saban Bama.
They have struggled in games against UK and FSU. We are as talented as both those teams and we get them at home. But let’s first beat Mizz then we can breakdown Alabama

They won those games 45-17, & 50-36. Their offense looks legit.

REALISTICALLY, it's pretty REAL that we are REALLY good.

A whole lot goes into winning a football game, particularly when it comes to college kids. Number one is Ole Mo!

The team has a considerable amount of momentum now. And one interesting fact: it was clearly taken away from them in the 1st quarter of the USC game and I'll bedamned if they didn't take it right back and beat the GameCocks - who are a good team.

It will take quite a bit of momentum and some good breaks to make the playoffs. The team looks very thin in some positions.

But plenty of folks who follow this stuff see if for what it is: the reality is we are very competitive.

Enjoy the ride now and cleaning your garage later.

P.S. - it is never okay not to win!
