FWIW-- At least we are not Syracuse!

Big Ten

Alive: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, USC, UCLA, Washington, Wisconsin
The weekend that was in the Big Ten was a big, fat nothing burger in a schedule that lacked … pretty much everything. There were blowouts galore of overmatched nonconference foes, some disappointing losses to teams from the ACC plus Notre Dame and a general ceding of the national spotlight to their peers down south in Week 3. Hopefully that changes even as the amount of teams still in the CFP chase remains high.
Eliminated: None
Out: Rutgers

ACC

Eliminated: Stanford, Syracuse

after losses dropped them to 0–2 in the standings.

You might have misunderstood. I think eliminated means those teams that got eliminated in that particular week.

Out means we were eliminated in some prior week.

Doesn't the B1G champion get an autobid? We still have a mathematical chance to win the B1G if we hypothetically run the table.
Your "run the table " post elicited this response

Technically, at this present point in time it’s also theoretically possible that the winner of the autobid finishes with more than one loss.
Well in 2024 a 3 loss Clemson team made the playoffs because they were the ACC champs.
2025 seen a 3 loss Bama squad go in as an at large
Who knows if Rutgers wins all of its remaining regular season games
Rutgers can't still have a mathematical chance to win the B1G if we not only "hypothetically run the table. " but " actually run the table, win the B1G Crown and Schiano makes good on an opinion he made when he first arrived as the RU FB HC in 2001
( google search found this)
When he was hired ahead of the 2001 season as the youngest head coach in Division I-A, he immediately set the highest possible bar for the historically struggling Rutgers Scarlet Knights football program. Media reports from August 2001 noted that Schiano was already boldly targeting a national title, famously asking reporters, “Why don't you think we can win a national championship?”

SI had this recently
“My goal is to win the national championship at Rutgers,” Schiano said. “Can it be done? I don’t know. We’re going to find out. I believe it can.”

So if Greg believes and others think there's a "hypothetical " chance
who am I to burst their bubble with my negative outlook

We’re not going to the playoffs of course, but the statement is factually incorrect. We are of course eliminated from At large consideration but no major conference team can be eliminated from autobid after only one or two conference games.
