Are you worried at all about Carnegie's efficiency? Carnegie’s pre-Iowa profile is very un-Iowa like. She has been a low-efficiency-high-volume 3-pt shooter. Iowa really helped Lucy improve as a 3-pt shooter in terms of efficiency. Hope they can do the same with Carnegie.

Against SEC competition last year, Carnegie was 2nd in the league in 3pt attempts, but shot 29.2%. As a freshman the year before at Georgia Tech, she was 11th in the league in 3pt attempts, but shot 27.7% against conference competition. If she shoots under 30% from 3 against BIG teams for Iowa, that will really hurt Iowa's BIG record.

In China this week, in winning the U23 3x3 Gold Medal, Carnegie was pretty inefficient while leading the team in scoring:

She can hit 3s, but what they really need from her, is an elite penetration game in sync with Heiden. If those two can build some chemistry, hopefully the efficiency 3s can come from Chat.

We'll see. I don't know if Carnegie can carry the team, but she can probably create some gravity that makes a difference.

Agree. I watched her highlights, and I love her aggressiveness getting to the rim. As you've said, if she can develop a good two man game with Ava, that could lead to success in the paint, as well as getting kick-out opportunities for the others.
