Bunker Hill at East Lincoln: The Bears have their Ace running back this week I think but it won’t be enough. Mustangs by 21.

Maiden at Foard: the Devils are trying to get on track. They win this one by 20.

North Lincoln at Hickory: the hapless Knights lose another. Red tornadoes by 28.

West Iredell

Bandys at Newton-Conover: Flyrod’s game of the week will also be the upset special of the week. Red Devils by 10.

Bandys- aint buying AMD upset but hey i;ll prob be wrong again
East Lincoln- another prep game before West Iredell but one they can gage alot on and take serious. EL by just 14 if BH comes to play.
Maiden- for the historic society of Maiden, how many times has Foard won this one 3 maybe 4 times since Elvis first took the stage?
Hickory-it wont a Highland Tech type beatdown at least


Lincolnton- Ltown and Lincolnton and Always, surely youll stay home or find a better game

Hibriten- this was East Burkes joke opponent back in the day. If they can hang tough and make it at least look respectable they may can vie for 2nd in this conference. EB JV's last year fought hard and scored on Hib undefeated JV's in a loopsided victory. May be that kinda game again

Shelby- just because its Shelby, but one I wouldn't mind seeing. No game in Burke co worth watching this fri I tell ya that lol

East Burke and Shelby call you got that one bout on the money. Cramer aint gonna make it easy for em' and East Burke i'd expect to fight in this one to earn respect even in a loss. I hope its less than 28, heck i hope they win but if they couldn't top a good but not great Freedom team I dont see a chance of it even being within 14.

You may be on to something with Newton and them being at home thats got upset potential. I done made my pick i can't back down now lol. Be cool to see them win this one even if it wasn't a pick of mine. Old family ties to Newton also, a cousin that played for them and a relative that was an administrator decades ago

This will be a toss up game. After seeing both Bunker Hill and Newton-Conover I'd say they are even less any injruries. Bandys got it done versus Bunker Hill.

I figured ( with comic relief) that it was only bout 4 times Foard has took a victory lap with Maiden since...Elvis came on the stage which I figure late 50's. That way Jail House Rock will get stuck in your heads rest of the day

I know of 3 occasions that Foard beat Maiden just from memory.

‘82, ‘08 beat the crap out of us, ‘17…Maiden was goose egged in the playoffs 16-0.

OBM, I’m recovering from a football injury: Couple of days ago, woke up sometime in the middle of the night, walked into my front room was going to see what might have been posted on this site. Don’t usually turn on the lights as the initial glare is a little much and the street lights are enough to see where I’m going. Went to sit down, but was about a step and a half away from the chair when I did. It shook the house. I’d give it a 3 on the Richter Scale.
Talked to AMD on the phone over the weekend. He’s good. Brainstorming on how to get Maiden back to its usual self.

Foard seems ok and CAN make some plays but that was against East Burke. Not throwing down on my boys or anything cause it was a pretty close game and to see that they got stomped by a couiple others it was really hard to gage on how they are just off of East Burke performace. I wouldlnt sleep on em' though. They can make a game out of it if theres alot of penalties and unforseen turnovers

He came from texas and played CB also. Playoff win maiden had half the team out with injuries I believe Caleb farley missed that game also. But looks like Tom brown never lost to Foard lol

#3 needs to step up himself dropped pick 6 that would of won bunker Hill game at the end and other stuff. Principal is saying health issues and wish him the best. All these parents need to take blinders off and look at their own kids shortcomings and things they could improve on. Glass houses and stones don't go together well. Also all the kids need to step up it's not on just #3 or any single kid. It's a team and team needs to hold themselves accountable

Hickory 5 Josh Herring K probably the best kicker I've seen since Ryan Succop, nobody will ever run a kickoff back on us because he is kicking field goals on kickoff team
