no, CD doesn't have the bag as his important factors on making a decision. Fit with the team, and being allowed to run the show are huge for him.
Iowa and Miami, if money is the deciding factor then I'd say Miami, but I don't think that's going to be it.

Keller is long, athletic and can play inside or out. A perfect fit for Ben's system.
If Ben can somehow get Cayden to commit to the Hawks over the blue blood schools, in-state schools and schools with deeper pockets, I'd say he is some kind of Svengali.

I think it’s a true toss up whether we get CD or not. You cannot say the same in the Fran era…we wouldn’t even get a sniff at this level of talent.

Serious question. Let’s say Miami does offer a little more money. Iowa has no one who could chip in a little more to match it? And what I mean is CD likes BMC and Iowa the best but feels obligated to take the Miami offer because it’s a little bigger.
I just can’t believe if BMC really wants this kid and the kid wants Iowa that Iowa can’t find a way to spend what’s needed (provided it’s not an obscene amount beyond market value).
My biggest concern is it’s Iowa and 3 in-state schools he’s pretty much narrowed it down to. He may love Iowa but may not want to be that far from family.

Creighton just landed 4* pg Micah Gordon. Highest ranked recruit in their history, at #33
They were also after Jaxson Davis. Many Big East schools have a lot to spend on basketball.
IF that happens and Davis went elsewhere Iowa going to again struggle landing recruits
One thing giving me hope we just plucked Ethan Harris last recruiting cycle from the great Northwest who had offers from Washington or Gonzaga.
We just went to the elite 8 with Drake players. We’ll be okay no matter what happens.

Basically, I don't care what the numbers say because they really haven't meant much historically speaking. Until you see someone actually project a school as getting the commitment.

Yeah, I agree. Just sharing as it seemed like the first change I had seen in a while and he had the recent Iowa visit.
I'll be pretty shocked if he picks Iowa, that's why I haven't got too excited about his recruitment. We'll be fine either way
