I'll be there for nine days next month if you want me to scout some spots for you. Though I'm a little worried about the trip now that Europe sees us all like we're @Allornothing types
you might be surprised. Based on some stories, a lot of folks are thinking just like Trump when it comes to their immigrant onslaught. In fact, some countries are implementing deportation efforts just like ours.taking my family to Europe for a month this summer. Can’t decide if we should get Canadian flag stickers for our bags or those tshirts on Amazon that say “trust me. We hate him too.”

oh, I agree that they don't think about our immigration, they have sufficient issues with their own. You might well be right, and probably are, about the other issues.I don’t think Europeans think about our immigration policies at all. They are more bothered by trumps tariffs, trade wars, Middle East wars, threatening nato, threatening Greenland, etc
I'm not sure Mr squared is comparing apples to apples....I won't talk corporations or stock markets because I don't know and don't want to do any research.
You think Covid killed a million people in America. You are a rotten, lying sack of ****. Trump is responsible for the lion's share of covid deaths, over a million. Go eat a grenade you nazi biiitch.
"I say this as a 3-time Trump voter, a lifelong Republican who spent an embarrassing amount of money on merch and travel to Trump rallies and DC… I was duped.
The past 14 months have been betrayal after betrayal. It sucks admitting I got it wrong. No, I’m not saying Kamala would have been better. But Trump is a politician, a glorified snake oil salesman. He is not God nor should he be worshipped as one. And we need to hold our politicians accountable.. ESPECIALLY the ones we voted for and sacrificed friendships, jobs and family over.
Trump is now attempting to bully his base into supporting another reckless foreign war, ignore the Epstein files and now, accept data centers or else you want to be “backwards and poor”.
I’ve never been in an emotionally abusive relationship… and I’m not about to start now.
Thank you for your attention to this matter"
You can agree with her that Kamala might not have been better, but if Republicans are truly disappointed, they shouldn't be supporting his laughably incompetent/corrupt endorsements for people like Darline Nordone or Ken Paxton. Electing them will only help ensure that his destructive policies will get passed, when we need checks and balances so he can't do any more damage, because god knows, with two more years and no guardrails or elections to worry about, he will run roughshod over our institutions / democracy in ways that are only limited by our imagination. If you don't want things to get worse, you need to vote against those who support him, because they will only be puppets, not independent minded leaders.I think a lot of people who voted for trump are disappointed....higher than necessary inflation, ICE aggressiveness, tariffs (although voter knew about that going in), the constant chaos, the excursion in Iran that seems counter to what the american people are being told, higher than necessary gas prices, and an overall feeling that we get a lot started but only about half gets completed...everything is always in the air it seems.
But as Mr Riles points out, "not that Kamala Harris would have been better" is a statement I would not argue with. We'd have different balls in the air....and I'm not sure the issues confronting us would be solved or even addressed given that we have Republican house and Senate.
Our entire government is disappointing..not just trump. It just seems as if we're floating and not doing anything to get our major problems addressed, much less solved. And I think both pro and anti trumpers would agree that we need to address key thinks like taxes, healthcare, social security our deficits and debt, entitlements and fraud, just as examples.
And what's disappointing to me at least, is that no matter which party gains or keeps power in this election, it's doubtful that they' address or accomplish those things that need to get done....

there's a lot to be said for divided governmentYou can agree with her that Kamala might not have been better, but if Republicans are truly disappointed, they shouldn't be supporting his laughably incompetent/corrupt endorsements for people like Darline Nordone or Ken Paxton. TBH, I've never understood why people would just go into a voting both and just vote straight "D" or "R" ticket. Blind loyalty to a party isn't really a good thing, IMODeciding to vote base Democrat or base Republican is like trying to get excited about a team when the two last place teams are playing each other. Do I pick loser 1 or loser 2. Instead of fixing the teams, they've created sub-teams, MAGA and DSA, and they suck worse than the base teams. The sub-teams may sounds more exciting but they are truly worse.
It is when one party has sold its soul to an unqualified, moronic, lifelong criminal con man and would be king who is only in it for staying out of jail and enriching himself and his family.TBH, I've never understood why people would just go into a voting both and just vote straight "D" or "R" ticket. that might be true, but is that the reason to vote straight party line all the way down to school board? Not all candidates from a single party are the best person for the job....again just my opinion. I wouldn't do it, but everyone has their own vote and can use it however they want....but maybe, just maybe that's why we're in the position we're in todayIt is when one party has sold its soul to an unqualified, moronic, lifelong criminal con man and would be king who is only in it for staying out of jail and enriching himself and his family.

I would never do it all the way down to even the school board. Depending on the type of position/job, have one party over the other might be a better fit. But I'll be honest with you, the majority of both parties suck.that might be true, but is that the reason to vote straight party line all the way down to school board? Sorry but anyone who believes the Democratic Party is at any risk of being overtaken by "DSA" like the GOP has surrendered to Trump probably shouldn't vote. This is as far from "both sides" as it's possible to be.they're a bunch of idiots and now they're screwed. Either vote for more of trump or vote for DSA who will want the government to own the farms. Some of these people really FAFO.
They won't have the power to fix prices but they can affect the source of the problem by clawing back the power to impose tariffs and funding the war. You should know better than to think they believe they can wave a magic wand but they can put checks in place that Republicans refused to deploy.well the way we fix it is to vote Democrat...well, I think a lot of people are going to vote Democrat this next election. So what are the odds the democrats will fix the fuel prices, the grocery prices and stop foreclosures.
Let's remember this post so that in 2028 we can look back with glee and say "we told you so".....with inflation at target 2%, grocery prices back down to pre 2025 prices and a booming housing market.
0 % for Trumpians and 35% for the other party. Would you still buy Enron?well the way we fix it is to vote Democrat...well, I think a lot of people are going to vote Democrat this next election. So what are the odds the democrats will fix the fuel prices, the grocery prices and stop foreclosures.

Speaking for myself, we didn't have a say on including them in the Democratic party, that's just what they called themselves but it's not like they're running roughshod over the party as they've lost 110 races during the 2026 cycle thus far, including high profile primaries for Wisconsin Governor and the Florida primary for the 25th congressional district where Jared Moskowitz clobbered the DSA candidate 64% - 36%. If Democrats do a good job after the mid-terms, the DSA may stop being much of a factor, but we'll need to see results.People said the same thing about the republican party and look where it's at in such a short time. You're a fool if you think the democrats won't surrender to the DSA. The fact the DSA is part of the democratic party is proof enough that democrats won't fight against the DSA. It is truly both sides because both sides are idiots.

DramaYou don't have a say but the democratic party does and at this point the party is ok with the DSA. Since the democratic party isn't speaking out against the DSA, it is proof they will not stand in the way of the DSA taking over (if the DSA popularity increases). Since the party won't speak out, the voters will decide. What you're going to see is something similar to the republicans, where a group of new voters is going to start voting and they're not really democrats (they're socialists), and they're going to vote DSA. The question is, how many of those new voters are there. If there's enough the party will be taken over. And you're right, you don't have any say, because your party let a group of nut jobs in and now they might destroy your party.
Drama
you're right..my point was just that. Anyone who believes the answer to cut inflation, reduce fuel and grocery prices by voting democrat mirror those who thought trump could end the way and end inflation on day 1.They won't have the power to fix prices but they can affect the source of the problem by clawing back the power to impose tariffs and funding the war. You should know better than to think they believe they can wave a magic wand but they can put checks in place that Republicans refused to deploy.
only if was looking for losses to offset gains...0 % for Trumpians and 35% for the other party. Would you still buy Enron?
