Spring is when they verticut, get rid of old thatch and stimulate the runners to branch out and get thicker. It looks pretty rugged for awhile (depending on how agressive they cut it) until it starts growing in

I wish they wouldn’t put Hail State in the end zone. Just Mississippi State or Bulldogs would do. I’ve never seen another team put the name of a cheer in the end zone, like War Eagle or Roll Tide or Hotty Toddy.

Upon further review, I agree with you. That looks fake. The maroon midfield logo is way bigger than the white one. Look at the hash marks. Looks like somebody took an old pic of the field and edited in a maroon State logo.

Auburn has put War Eagle in the endzone before.
Hailstate is our brand, I don't mind it.
Bulldogs would also be fine.

Why does our stadium not have a nickname like "The Swamp". I mean, could we do the Dawg House or BoneYard or something?
