Need to make a ton of hay in the front part of the schedule, where the SOS 'ease' of quite a few opponents and/or game locations heavily favor Iowa.

Only leave the state of Iowa twice between November 3rd and January 11th. (@ Xavier & @ Purdue)

I think Ben is up to the task. I haven't checked others, but we have the majority of players who stayed. That should help with their further development.

Good. So if facing another Florida type of situation in the NCAA Tourney, won't phase our guys as much. One benefit last year: the team was used to the unexpected. No familiarity with any of the away game environments. And, for the Drake transfers, same that year. I think that helped toughen 'em up (?).

Seeing the full schedule, it looks like kind of a wild ride. That stretch that starts at Purdue, then Indiana at home, then Iowa State is going to be real interesting and will tell us a lot about this team early in the season.

Every time I read about early rankings, Iowa is almost always near the bottom. Most seem to think we're going to regress now that Stirtz is gone. Looks like it's another season of proving people wrong.

I could fire some people if that would help the Big Ten give us better, more logically structured, non-redundant schedules...............

Yeah?

Very pleased to see ALL saturday games during the conference schedule! I don’t mind the occasional Sunday game but it seems like since BTN came about that we played on Sunday instead of Saturday the majority of the time! College FB and BB are for Saturdays to me...
