Murray St who was predicted to finish last in the Missouri Valley conference is proving the predictors right by losing to Eastern Illinois 14-28 and Middle Tenn. St. 14-38 their 1st two games. A loss to Valpairiso next week will make them 0-3 coming in to Stillwater. I can not wait for November where we have been promised 4 wrestling matches.
Way too early to fully write off this team/coach but early indications suggest that the only good hire Weiberg has made in his career is DT, and my understanding it wasn’t even really Weiberg’s decision to get DT.
I’m so hyped for wrestling this year. We’ve got 4 tickets now, and the wife has fallen in love with wrestling. So excited to see how this team pans out and who goes at which weight.
I have so many things to say but I won’t …I tried to tell the Holder haters yet here we are.
Who hated Holder? Yes he was a royal prick but he was the best AD ever by far.
Lots of folks, can’t tell you how many times I had to defend him or what he was doing.
I think some people just struggle with personalities like his.

Morris took over a sinking ship. His record shows improving teams over several years. Yes he brought staff and players… but a transition period should still be expected.

Pretty sure he hired Hoyt, which has objectively exceeded expectations to date and has a team built to make it to the second weekend.
But unless Morris ends up being a massive success, hiring DT is a lock to be the greatest thing Chad will accomplish during his tenure.
Agreed. I think DT has been far and away the best coach Weiberg has hired to date. Great supplement to golf, softball and baseball.
The defense decided to extend the season. Let's wait another week or two on wrestling.

So, pretty good contingency of Wrestlers there and games like that only strengthen the bond to the school!

In all fairness - losing to an instate team not named Oklahoma University, probably SHOULD have been an immediate season forfeiture.
