That’s true but not fair to the young man if it wasn’t him. I’m sure he’d rather play than watch regardless of the opponent. We have some guys that are quick to react emotionally but he seems pretty level-headed.
That is true… but he shouldn’t have been ejected at all…. That was a big game Friday Night.
I was just glad to hear he handled the whole situation great afterwards. Being the leader he is and the role model for many players on our team. He was trying to keep it together when things went south.
most kids that get ejected have that “f it” mentality.
I’m glad #3 is back.
Problem i see is when u play teams that are loosers and normally dont win or carry big fan base there isn't any problems.
But when u start winning, and play big time schools, u can expect 2 teams to come off field together. Or have it where one fan base is next to the exit

A bigger lesson and that goes for any team, when something happens stay away. #3 was in the middle of all of it. I am honestly surprised they were able to prove anything because he was definitely in the middle of the pile off the sidelines. One Lincolnton player made the hit out of bounds and a bunch ran onto our sidelines during the ruckus. That alone can create issues. Most kids run to the aid of a teammate so it's instinct.
Our County Admin has already taken several victory laps in local paper, for the idea to build the visitor locker room adjacent the visitors exit. I'll be surprised if that even happens, no hope at all of the other endzone. (Where they already have the tent)

Well, we could offer people a chance to experience the downside of things, here, and let them decide if the quality of life is better/worse here as compared to wherever they might be from. They really couldn't measure things by seeing only the good, at least they would get a a macro view this way.
Question is, how do we set this thing in motion. One way might be by making a proposal to the board of aldermen to create a weekly drawing during the football season each week before the game, all (adult visitors over 21) could enter by sending in pertinent information. Then a drawing is held on Thursday to offer the lucky winner a chance to experience the Lincolnton downsides.
We begin on Friday (The day of the game) at 5PM when the winner would: 1. Arrive at a certain location who has great food, but a BIG crowd, before heading across town for the game which brings us to downside number 2. And man oh man does it live up to its number: negotiating the Lincolnton afternoon/evening traffic, and we are definitely talking downside here. Oh, and hey! if you are a slower driver, like me, notice how all the cars passing by in the same direction will look at you and how their mouths seem to be saying the same odd thing "Sunny Beach."
Then finally, you get to the stadium and can now settle down for a while to enjoy some football. Once it's over you get to experience downside number 3. Getting your assets hustled out of the stadium and being told to "exit like a herd." Sounds like an episode of Rawhide, don't it. Well, now it's time to to rest, and room and board have been pre-paid.
On Saturday morning get up, have breakfast and then peruse the many fine businesses in our downtown, finishing the day up at a particular store which brings us to downside number 4. How to go shopping in an establishment that is shoulder to shoulder and not contract a respiratory illness.
To end the day, the lucky winner will get to do some bar hopping in our social district... In spite of the downsides if you're a drinking person you might really enjoy this. If a beverage is purchased at certain location, you can walk around while you enjoy it, however, something you should know, if you walk through the alleys and are among a large group that has congregated, be forewarned, you will experience downside number 3, again when the law enforcement comes through. If they have a dog with them, don't pet it.
Well, your unusual experience is finally coming to an end, so get a good night's sleep and you'll be ready to head home and make that decision: "Since I've experienced the downsides of Lincolnton, is it really so bad as some might say?" In my honest opinion you have one of the best stadiums to watch a game. The turf and old school seating is top notch because it puts you on top of the action. I will never deny that. If you guys could figure out the entrance and exit part you would be rolling. I know it’s easy to type but that’s a ton of money. I get it.BurnsBulldog02 said:

I think I've complained about a couple of these. And saw today city lunch is no longer opening before day break because y'all have too many homeless wolves hanging out in front of business. BurnsBulldog02, I am truly sorry you had a bad experience I mean that and I hope you’ll come back. You’re probably a good person like everyone else I know from your area. Considering the thumping we took, I was trying to look for a little humor as as the alternative is too depressing.

I enjoyed a Livermush/egg sandwich, a gravy biscuit, and a SunDrop just last week. It set me back exactly $3.75. I'd fight AMD to keep this place open! And, I think I'll fight him just for calling this bunch "wolves", lol. Apparently, solving the homeless issue is harder than the visitor's exit.

In the very early part of the 1960s as a newspaper boy uptown (street vendor). At the end of the day when I’d sold out, would go in the City Lunch, And order a small tater, that’s what it was called. It was a saucer full of mashed potatoes.
The Potatoes had gravy over them. You got a roll and a glass of tea $.25…If you were really hungry you could get a large tater a plate full of mashed potatoes gravy over them, a roll and a glass of tea for $.35. Don’t know how it would be today but back then it was great.

Sounds a lot like old Raby's Lunch counetr on Main Ave in Hickory back in the day. You ordered a plate of pintos, with or without, that being onions!
That’s right, my friend. About the storied City Lunch hot dog. They were originally designed for people who only had a short lunch break; Lincolnton High students had an open lunch period, could leave campus but had to be back for class in thirty minutes. The hot dogs to this day are about 3 or 4 bites. A very quick meal.
