Maybe it is an endless war, but calling it 8 months in is possibly a tad bit premature. I can't defend gas prices, we've been down that road already. I get the tariff idea, but one could I guess question how it's been.

Bribery or not, telling Americans you'll give them each $5,000? Send it please. If our leaders, their donors, big pharma, insurance companies... can profit off our backs for decades, and profit well, then the least that can be done is give the people who've been bent over a barrel a little money back. To be honest, $5,000 is not a drop in the bucket of what they've stolen for decades.

Not a Democrat, but President Trump's handling of illegal immigration specifically and strictly at the border has probably been one of the top 2 things he has done this term, and I don't know what the other thing is. It is probably the weakest thing about President Biden's leadership, though it improved tremendously near the end.

Not sure why you're injecting this into the discussion at this moment. Did something big just happen with that? Seems like a deflection from the discussion of gas prices otherwise.
That’s just like you to give a compliment and then turn around and give a jab to a poster. You have stated you’re not a Democrat, I missed what you claim to be. You seem like an insufferable, condescending jerk to me; but you do you Datt.

Next thing Trump will try to do is cancel everyone’s student loans…

They’ve had complete control of the presidency and Congress for the last two years. Pretending for a second that this is even legal, they could send those checks out right now. They could’ve done it at any point over the last two years. They haven’t. So why wait until after the election, and why make it contingent on keeping Republicans in power?

And where exactly is the money coming from? The Supreme Court ruled his tariffs were illegal, and the government has already refunded about $100 billion that was collected from American taxpayers. Unfortunately, taxpayers didn’t get that money back. It went to the companies instead. So, tariff revenue isn’t going to cover another $1.2 trillion in spending. It would all be straight deficit spending.

Does the deficit and national debt only matter when Democrats are in office?

And why would anyone trust that he'd actually follow through with that $5k? He already claimed we were all gonna get $2k tariff rebates.

You gave Trump a compliment on the border and then the next thing you say is I’m deflecting from the gas prices. I said I wasn’t happy with the prices of gas and everything else at the beginning of my post. I mentioned a good thing and you accuse me of deflecting. I haven’t ducked from topics and questions, that’s your schtick.

It wasn't a jab. It seemed like an abrupt change of subject and I wondered why. Not everything is an attack.

Of course. This is just another lie for the rubes. A shiny new object for them to focus on while they forget about all the other shiny objects they were promised and never received.

Where is my DOGE dividend? Oh right, they didn’t actually save any money with any of that. The tariff rebates? Nonexistent. They just taxed the American people and then refunded the money to the companies who kept it and recorded it as profit.

Just more lies. This thread makes me wonder how many times a person can be lied to and then immediately fall for the same lies again. So far, we haven’t been able to answer that question.

You won't get an argument from me on this. I've said I'm not happy with some of what Trump has done, and some of what he hasn't done. A difference though between you and me is you still think the right is evil and the left are the saviors. Sorry to bust your bubble, but that kind of thinking is some of what's wrong out here. Stop drinking the kool aid.

Until you realize at least 95% of the suits up in DC have been bought/compromised, which flows down to the news we receive, you'll continue to be extremely misguided. Which makes it impossible to take you serious.

No need to give your opinion to them. They just can’t understand that the politicians play us like a fiddle. You and I can agree both sides are corrupt, but the left still thinks the Democrats have the best interests of the country.

Yeah I still scratch my head with what we saw out of Ol Joe for 4 years, that they can still have the opinion of the media they do. These hacks ridiculed us for years for what we said about Biden, and they refuse to believe the media was paid to protect him.

The guy was a mumbling vegetable the night of the pres debate, which came as no surprise to us.

Uh oh.

If the reports are true and Saudi Arabia’s bypass pipeline was critically damaged last night, and the Houthis now have the ability to disrupt the Bab al Mandab Strait, the real shortages and price hikes are about to begin.

Saudi Arabia has been using that pipeline to bypass the Strait of Hormuz, which has helped hold oil prices down. If it’s critically damaged and shipping through Bab al Mandab is disrupted at the same time, Saudi Arabia is in deep ****, along with every other country that relies on its oil. This is a really big deal and could be a major turning point.

* Mayor Mamdani's statement at the 9/11 Memorial yesterday was perfect.
* His brief smiling & laughing exchange w/ Rep AOC is a ragebait nothingburger.
* It is ridiculous to think the mayor of NYC who lived through THE 9/11 as a child in NYC and has lived there for 27 years wouldn't or shouldn't be there.

Wow, our President's FCC threatened abc into refusing to air an interview with Texas Senate candidate James Talarico. Like Kimmel or not, using a federal regulatory agency as a partisan enforcer is fascist. And on the Kirkiversary all the Kirk stans were celebrating, of all days. It's a fitting tribute to a hypocrite who cosplayed Christianity and advocated for his own free speech while inciting doxxing and intimidation as a stochastic terrorist toward others' free speech.
Talarico gives the lie to rightwing extremist "Christianity," too. Being anti-abortion on behalf of babies they refuse to support with social programs, education funding, and a hopeful future isn't following Christ.

Nope, which is the part where we don’t feel the left thinks for themselves.
Sadly, what we’re seeing now on this thread is not so much political disagreement, as it is a complete breakdown of societal norms. Trolls that aren’t so much an invitation to debate as they are a trigger to continue a cycle of name calling and moral shaming. So threatened by a Christian who actually follows scripture to look askance at this trans nonsense.
2 billion Muslims think it’s ******** too, but of course Leftist lunatics ignore that altogether

Everything okay? Seem awfully angry
Is there anyone you can talk to? The rant about Kirk seems unrelated to your original post about Kimmel’s violation of the equal time provision. Couldn’t he have had Paxton on and rectified the problem? Or was it click bait to get you all in a tizzy? So easily manipulated it’s hard to believe.

So… moment of truth. Are you willing to be more than a cheerleader on this board? Are you willing to call out a fellow poster’s reckless rhetoric? Normally you give a rubber stamp to whatever ******** the other two are spewing. We’ve had another poster clearly go over the line in terms of basic decorum and courtesy; are you willing to call it out or are you content to be a sheep with no moral backbone of your own?

Yeah, I asked Datt a few simple questions that I felt like a Christian could answer very easily. He refused and pretty much said that I already knew what his answer would be.

I’m not a Christian, but if I were it would be a problem if you had a grandstander sorting Christians into real ones and fake ones right?
We share a heritage you and I and last I checked the first five books of the Bible ( We call the Torah), I think you call it the Pentateuch iirc, is pretty clear on cross dressing and the like.
Here’s my question : if you think there are six or fifteen genders, at what point do you say: hey maybe this Cristian or Jewish or Islam **** is not for me? Maybe I’ll just make up my own **** and hope no one calls me out? It’s about infiltration and undermining. They’ve been successful with an

My take was his troll about Mamdani was ignored so he had to raise the stakes and say a bunch of atrocious things about Kirk. It feels quite unhinged but I’m sure it all makes sense in his head, and Booger’s too since he’s nowhere to be found when he’s not cheeerleading his boys

His answer was basically “ **** scripture” unless it conforms to my political beliefs and then I’ll cite you chapter and verse iirc

He can’t base it on scripture because he doesn’t know scripture . He only cites things that align with his political beliefs. He’s a cherry picker

Meltdown or a cry for help? He thought his Mandami troll would have us going nuts, so he doubled down with the next one. We responded, but we’re getting awfully close to ignoring him altogether. Which of course would be his worst nightmare since he loves attention. Boogie of course is no where to be found, and ducky can’t get his hands on the gas prices just now. So I’ll guess we’ll have to drive down to the nearest gas station to find out what the prices are. Damn it!

Good take on Datt and lil Duckey. Boogie is nowhere to be found because he’s simply not that smart. The poor fella knows we know it too. He does have just enough intelligence to stay clear of the Datt when he has his episodes. Datt’s true colors will always eventually show up. He can’t sustain good behavior but so long.
Lil Duckey is simply a loose cannon. Keep any guns out of his reach.

Good call. Boogie knows just enough to lay low when his mentor is having some sort of a disconnect from reality. He’s a sycophant basically, here to serve that purpose. Nothing serious about it.
So should we glean anything legit from the other two? Well, Datt’s already let us know that the Dems are too right wing for his taste. So I guess that puts him squarely in the middle of the DSA/ Bernie **** show. So yeh he’s Bozo at this point wondering why the circus left town

“When he has his episodes”. Great way to put it. So going forward amidst all of this insanity, the question we need answered is exactly where does old Datt fit on the ideological spectrum? We know he’s to the left of Dems and he’s a no holds barred guy when it comes to the trans types. So he’s all in on whatever the latest trend is.

Datt is a nut job when it comes to politcal/social views, but he wouldn’t harm anyone. Boogie wouldn’t either, but he’s the person at the protest that has to be told by others that his sign is upside down, or not facing the right way. Now lil Duckey? He's dangerous. Close to the Antifa thugs we’ve seen on tv many times. As I’ve said, he shouldn’t be allowed to have a gun.
