Hard to un-remember UND taking it to NDSU a few years back. That was 2023, but I worry how we would handle that level of physicality. I was at the UNI game in 24 and I expect UND to be a step up from them.I said they were on par - competitive with us. They are- unfortunately at this juncture- they just are. North Dakota is very competitive with SDSU and ndsu now which makes them someone we can not chalk up as a big point spread win.
Youve backed off k-state and now ndsu - so at least 2 of 3 you now agree with. SDSU deserves to be in that group also . Very solid program well led.
Let's talk about other teams since you have a Viagra induced hard-on for that angle. Technically, Nebraska is still considered a blue blood but let's expand the group beyond blue bloods and take the Top 20 winningest programs + Miami. Not very knowledge I see.
Piss in your own wheaties.
Forget the optics, think of it from a season-ticket holder perspective. The "marquee" games are almost guaranteed a*s beatings. So, you end up with Washington and Maryland as the best games on the schedule. It's a joke.Let's talk about other teams since you have a Viagra induced hard-on for that angle. Of the 21 schools, only three will not play a non-con game vs a P4 school this year. Those schools are Penn St, USC and Nebraska. Penn St and USC don't have an FCS school on their schedule.
Nebraska fans deserve better. The optics of the schedule is dog shłt and laughable. As someone mentioned above, after the non-cons we don't have a true idea of what this team is about. But then there's you tarding out and trying to justify another shłtty non-con schedule.

Bet neither one of you pay a donation fee and have season tickets like I do. Yet your both whining about it.Forget the optics, think of it from a season-ticket holder perspective. Haha I unfortunately do, big dawg.Bet neither one of you pay a donation fee and have season tickets like I do. Yet your both whining about it.

It is pretty lame to pay retail prices for these laydowns. But Rhules teams don’t really know how to win, so I see it as a positive to build some momentum and a winning streak going into conference play.Let's talk about other teams since you have a Viagra induced hard-on for that angle. We're so deep in the MAC we should start scheduling these non-cons on Wednesday's.That’s one,

So you can cry more?Best NU non-conference game between 2026 and 2027? Go!
I guess considering we get OSU, Oregon, and Indiana I’m not sure why you’re embarrassed. Starting conference on the road against Pat Fitzgerald is not a layup either. Ending the season at Iowa? Yeah that’s all a cream puff. Tom usually had at most 2-3 ranked teams to negotiate before a bowl game. What’s so different about this? Our schedule is embarrassing. However we are so far removed from our competitive days that it’s difficult to accept the spot we are in. Kansas State built its way out of the cellar with some patsies in non con. Thats about where we are and Bill Snyder was an under appreciated genius of a coach and leader. BIG is a tough sled- I can see why we have the schedule we do. Im
Frustrated also.
Thanks for proving my point. From your list only Texas A&M and Georgia are in the Top 20 for wins and have a P4 school on their non-con this year.Minnesota played E.Illinois

Where did I cry? You seem to be making some weird argument that we don't have the lamest non-conference schedule around. Then you tried to flex thinking you are the only one on an NU football forum that has season tickets and pays the donation. So you can cry more?
Looks like the Clarkeyes schedule this year.
Can tell there is many of us on this message board.Where did I cry? You seem to be making some weird argument that we don't have the lamest non-conference schedule around. Then you tried to flex thinking you are the only one on an NU football forum that has season tickets and pays the donation.
Dude, your senility is hitting again. The conversation isn't about conference home games. It's about the weak a$$ non-con schedule. Can tell there is many of us on this message board.
Red Sea scrolls is a different story.
Maryland, Washington and bucknuts are very good home games.
DahDude, your senility is hitting again. The conversation isn't about conference home games.
Out of conference TO would play 2 bad teams a below average team with a name and then usually 1 competitive team. I watched teams like Bama, auburn, usc, florida state, Penn state, Washington etc etc. I have no problem with the schedule- it is what it is.I guess considering we get OSU, Oregon, and Indiana I’m not sure why you’re embarrassed. Starting conference on the road against Pat Fitzgerald is not a layup either. Ending the season at Iowa? Yeah that’s all a cream puff. OSU is likely to be favored by the same amount as we are over UND....Can tell there is many of us on this message board.

Luck of the draw. Hopefully Dannen doesn't cancel any future series. Looking forward to Okie State and AZ. Should get another home and home with CU while we have open slots.Honest question, comparing the complete 2026 schedule to any Big 8/12 schedule from yesteryear, do you think the schedule is worse? If you look at it objectively, our complete 2026 schedule is much harder than what Nebraska was used to back in the day, even with the soft non-con schedule.
Of course, there were some outlier years, but as a whole, Nebraska played some soft *** schedules for a lot of seasons. And don’t even get me started on the Big 12 North as a whole. It was a joke.
Hey nincompoop Indiana. Thanks for proving my point. From your list only Texas A&M and Georgia are in the Top 20 for wins and have a P4 school on their non-con this year.
And the rest of the schools on your have a P4 school on their sched.
And of course your fall back is to call a person a clarkeye to anyone that disagrees with you.

However, they get pretty gawt damn upset if their basketball team is playing chimps because they feel it is their right as a blue blood and they want to play tough schools.
You're such a simpleton. Oh, I'm a booster - I go to games. Clarkeye... clueless.

CorrectThe days of playing Penn St, Florida St and Auburn have gone by the waste side.
Not even close.Correct
But a poster was equating our OC schedule to TOs - I don’t think they were comparable
