1-0 loss, off an early PK. Could have been worse, but WTF is this starting eleven??? We have a midfielder at forward, and two forwards and a back in the midfield. Genius level stuff going on in this program.

Watching this team is super frustrating. The lack of soccer IQ is shocking. Shocking. (I had to comment on something other than our ability to connect simple passes)

I could watch 3 play soccer all day long. Wow is she something.

Hope we don't lose her.

Starts and ends with coaching but I think with what is going on with football that may buy O Neil one more year

You're probably right. And while I don't think he develops the girls particularly well he has earned the longer leash. Especially when you consider the **** show that is football

A 1-0 loss to a ranked team doesn’t exactly scream incompetence. Except for the penalty kick, they played well enough to tie. Washington’s defense was awfully good. Some of their defenders reminded me of Emily Mason. For Rutgers, I was really impressed with number 3, Lilia Calvert. Rutgers looks like it will be more competitive in the Big Ten this year, which I didn’t expect after the way the season started.

Splitting a trip to the PNW isnt a bad outcome at all, especially considering Oregon is vastly improved and Washington is the defending B1G Champs.
And they did lose in the National Championship game last year and have only let up 2 goals in 8 games this year
Not sure about the post about the lineup and who was were because I only caught part of this game

Not sure. Rutgers had difficulty creating on offense. Also, midfield seemed slow and indecisive. However, they play a lot of youth out there so some of it maybe growing pains.
