After last season my give a damn meter had bottomed out. Didn't even care if I had an obligation that kept me from watching part, or all, of a game. I just truly no longer cared. After yesterday, I'm now finding myself getting emotionally invested again. Almost feeling like a battered girlfriend always making excuses why she can't leave even though she's treated like ****. Will this be the season that pays off or just another season where we end up Amber Herding the bed for one reason or another? I sure do hope it's the former. If there was ever a week for SEC Shorts to have Hope with us instead of A&M this is it.
