Defense playing well. Offense not so much. Defense is being given quite an advantage in field position, and finally tied it up early in 2nd quarter. We have got to figure some things out on offense. Play calling seems a little stale. We'll see if that last short drive uncorked us because we started moving the sticks a little easier.

Looks like the defensive calls by the coaches are hit or miss tonight. Last week they were right 90% of the time, something we can't expect every week. But when the call is right our defense is very good.

The are selling out to stop the run... so you take the short throws to move the ball 4 to 5 at a time... there is too much "let's force to this player" going on... take what is there and execute

Also, apparently the new press box doesn’t have communication with the officiating crew to play the announced penalties for TV coverage or the stadium. Perhaps they are waiting to sell more Whataburgers.

I did not expect a halftime deficit for Tulsa in this game. This one is coaching, SHSU is out coaching Lamb and his staff at this point

Ridiculous that special teams coach only gives those that get paid opportunities .... No fair competition for every special teams position.... Going to cost TU at some point in multiple games

They are fired up to play at home for the first time in almost 2 years. They got us to agree to play at their place. They are throwing everything at us to get a win. Reminds me of when BYU came to Tulsa after we remodeled. The team needs to stay focused and execute. Baylor needs to manage the game and get us to the EZ.

This is just not looking spectacular on offense. Last week I thought we got kind of lucky with things like calloway pulling that ball out of the db's hands. But I thought we had enough bad news bears luck with the officials, that we would be fine against an offense like the bearkats. Not so far.
