Its a time line retard and you were wrong yet again.

Ramble ramble.

You know the fly that sits on an elephants *** waiting for the feces that falls from the anus so it can consume what little nutrient value is left and spread its own version of fertilizer?

It does more for society than you.

You're a time line retard, that much is clear.

So you finally disclosed your occupation, anus fly.

And, still, you created a false dilemma, I mocked you for it, and you went cray cray for pages ... you silly anus fly, you.

I was assured by Whiskey and others that this was not going to become a neverending clusterf*** of a war

I was only kidding ... yelling "fore" doesn't absolve you from your criminal responsibility. But, it's funny that the first 2 times you mentioned that, you spelled it "four," then "for" ... before editing the second mention to the correct spelling. Four is the number of years you should have spent in juvvy for your crime, Gibbs 2.0.
Have an original burn or just stay home.

Anus fly, you've run out of insult attempts.

Meanwhile, all this could have been avoided if you just weren't an illiterate nitwit, who yaps first and thinks never ... and if your mother had just pushed the coat hanger in a little farther. I bet you get great reception, though, even on your vast wasteland of a property, as long as you're standing next to the TV. Noggin-hanger say: "But, the only option, other than looking like a completely inept former superpower whose main accomplishment to date was to give Iran control of an important Strait they didn't have control of before, was to commit what some folks would call "genocide. I like turtles. Did you know they filmed a movie out here? I have wildflowers."

Think what you will about all the other reports but I have it on good authority that this particular claim is false and that the unit is fully functional
I'm willing to accept that and the only reason I didn't vet it further before posting is because this is a right-leaning account known for being supportive of our war efforts. You very will may be right but in digging further, all I'm seeing is it's unverified. All good.

I blame entering this war on Trump but let’s not pretend that Hegseth’s Dept of Defense is at fault for the failure to R&D the defenses necessary to counter Iran’s missiles and drones. That failure happened during Biden’s term imo.
Well, you can't really argue with logic like this. Of course it's the fault of the guy who hadn't been president for over a year who wasn't the one to start a war without any preparation.

Vance, Rubio, Cruz... They are all crapping themselves over having to run for POTUS in 2028 with this thing still smoldering. It would be better for them if Trump just cuts a horrible deal that gives Iran a ton of money, and lets them keep their nuclear material, and they can walk away from their roles in it.

By reports, damage to 9 fighter jets on the Jordanian base doesn't sound good.

Do they not have ANY ability left to intercept or are those munitions depleted as well?

How, exactly, is this true? Our own local reporter has hand waved this away. The ordnance landed safely in the desert. Far away from any US assets! He knows, because gramps told him so!

Please retract this fake news.
that guy is too distracted with one of his many pissing matches to acknowledge the fact that his assurances were nothing but bullsh*t

well, Sonny...I don't know if i'm the grandpa you're talking about ( I am one, by the way), but the only thing I posted was that the Patriot defends an area, not the entire battlefield. If the computers, once they detect an incoming threat, determines if that threat is a danger to assets in that area, it engages. If not it does not engage. I have no idea if there were patriots defending the airfield where the aircraft were destroyed, or even if there were any aircraft destroyed.

By the way, another tidbit you may or may not be aware of...you don't fire just one interceptor at an incoming missile. The probability of kill is not 100%.. So every incoming threat would normally have 2 or 3 patriots engage. That's why you need so many of them. Hitting an object travelling at ballistic missile speed is no small matter.

something to consider...first of all, you're right about starting a war without having the weapons inventory necessary is kind of dumb.

But, here's the thing, we have been discussing China and Taiwan, and the possibility of defending Taiwan for years.
It takes years to produce weapons (3 - 4 years for patriots) so given the possibility of war with China, we were woefully unprepared. And that lack of preparation goes back a lot further than just Biden and the congresses during that administration. Underfunding weapons procurement has been a thing for multiple years and through multiple presidents and congresses.

There was a war game, either late in Biden's term or early in trump's where the end analysis was that the US would run out of missiles in 7 days. You can't make up that deficiency overnight.

The blame, if you want to call it that, has to fall not only on politicians, but the Pentagon might well also some part of it, both for not including more weapon procurement in their budget requests, for failing to adjust to modern warfare need (like drones), and maybe for placing emphasis on the wrong things in their budgets.

well, I might be accused of providing stale information or posting from my high horse but I'd bet that I know more about the Patriot system than Trump. I was there when we had the fight to take the system from anti aircraft only to anti ballistic missile. At the time, the Army saw no reason for an anti missile system, they had to forced into it.

you know my position on this entire excursion thing...what a cluster....

You and I haven't found a whole lot of common ground, but I would bet a large amount of money you know more about damn near everything than (other) gramps.

you might be surprised....I have more in common with folks center left than you might think. Of course I also have a lot in common with folks on center right. That's one of the advantage of being "center". I'm not a big fan of either extreme.are I=on the periphery

I tend to not get worked up over things over which I have no control or which are on the periphery of what I think is important, and I'd prefer if people weren't so general in their comments....

some of the social programs...I believe there are people who generally need help, and I think we should help them

I'm ok with increased taxes on the high earners ..as long as the funds go to decreasing deficits.

I think we need to have more humanitarian approach to deportations. Our one size fits all approach fails to discriminate between those who have been here legally - like TPS - have jobs, raising families and those who are criminals..i'd call it pragmatic enforcement.

just for a start
