Please tell me this coach’s tenure is done after this tournament. There’s got to be someone better for the olympics. This game shouldn’t have been within 15 at the half.
The HC's personnel decions make less sense than Fran's. That about explains the near loss to Italy and today's struggle.
This looks a lot like the Italy game... bunch of turnovers, can't make a shot.
I hate to be that guy but has anyone seen a pass go TO Clark in the halfcourt today?
Is there a Clark even on the team?

God dang I wish they'd stop showing the bench and crowd after made baskets, while the US is racing up the floor with the ball.
Just started watching mid 3rd quarter and have yet to see a pass to Clark in half-court. Unbelievable!
I said earlier in the week that I don’t think they were really icing her out. But after watching this second half, it sure seems like it is happening a lot. She’s taken a couple of bad 3pt shots in this game, and it looks like they pulled her from the floor after the last one. But she’s basically an afterthought in a half court offense with this team, which is insane.
Young and copper have made a pact not to pass to her
Clark wasn't even trying to do anything on offense, no drives, no midrange, no anything
She made some great passes today but they either missed wide open looks or dropped her passes right off both hands.
The entire US bench, minus Boston, only had 10 shot attempts, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. Lawson obviously decided to ride with the old gaurd.
And it nearly cost them. I'm just going from memory so I could be wrong but when CC entered in the first half, Spain led 15-11. When she was taken out USA led 29-25.
Second half substitution, the game was either tied or I think the U.S led by 2. When she was taken out, they led by 8.
The offense started getting pace and just played better with her on the court. Team USA seems alot like the WNBA when it comes to their treatment of their meal ticket and it's a real head scratcher.

Maybe coach K would love to come and coach the women.
Even the halftime show said the younger team was moving a lot better and were a better matchup with Spain…as close as she could to saying the younger group should be playing.
They would rather take the chance of losing than making the vets angry

That’s most likely going to happen. I still think Lawson actually has more faith in the vets, so when it’s close, she goes with them thereby keeping it closer.
Kinda crazy but when Caitlin gets back to her own team there'll be another player who can be reluctant to pass to her also. I'd still rather have KM than not but ... 
Hoping to see some of the old players retire after the first of the year. I'm afraid the new commissioner selected might be a rubber stamp of KE. The upside here, is that these antics are visible on the world stage. What's sad, is that the players who are doing this really could care less.
Megan DiLeo may have just broken or dislocated a finger.
