Having lived here for a while, ET sucks. People out here say they can go out in the morning and get stuff done before the noon games start. What that fails to take into account is the fact that your normal night games go late (Hawks are at 8pm today) and you can forget about anything west coast unless you’re an insomniac.

MT is best IMHO. 10am start for the midday games, just right if you want to get a little work done or have brunch and a bloody to start your day. Night games are early evening. West coast games will be over before midnight if you want to have a night cap.

Hawaii Aleutian time is the worst if we’re only talking US time zones.

I live in mountain time zone and agree it’s the best. 10 AM is a great start time. Gives me the chance to sleep in a bit, nail the wife, have some coffee and chill a bit before the games start. Rinse, repeat on Sunday only with an additional hour in the morning to bang the wife.

I also think pacific isn’t terrible for start times but the evening nfl games are to early. 5:15? Yeah, no.

Hawaii time zone is awesome. Wake up, do the no pic old lady doggy while watching college or pro football, have breakfast, mimosa or Bloody Mary then settle in with all the games for the rest of the day and still have the evening to go out and not miss any games.

I like the MT argument but you make a great case.

I've lived in central, mountain, and now pacific and probably agree mountain is the best. I have come to enjoy the pacific quite a bit as well, and do like the 5:15-5:25 NFL start times as the game is over around 9 and I'm home from work by 5:10. Definitely don't love the 9 AM Hawk games, but do like 9 AM games just not the ones I'm truly invested in. I normally just watch the Iowa games later that do start at that time as I can go do stuff and don't have to worry about seeing the score somewhere here in Oregon.

I loved pacific. Early games start at 9. Press some coffee and enjoy the games. Then I can enjoy the fall day afterwards.

If it’s a later game I can do a hike in the morning and then turn the game on around lunch.

NFL evening games are the main problem with PT IMHO. That said, also not a huge fan of 9am start for the college noon ET games. That one hour for MT makes all the difference.

Ya the Thursday and Monday night prime time games are strange bc they start so early.

Sat and Sunday are great.

The only thing I didn’t like about living in Dublin. Night games were a struggle to get through. Even the late afternoon (3pm) was tough

What west coast late game could possibly be worth watching. If it is, it’s bumped to prime time. East is fine.

today: walk dogs, ride 40 miles, get lunch, watch game (cut grass at half), paint kitchen, walk dogs, shower, make dinner, watch football

Having grown up in Central time and lived in Eastern time for 19 years, I think Central is the best. 11am college game start time, Noon NFL kickoffs, and MNF over before midnight. I think that's pretty ideal.

I was in CA for a college game one time and it was cool to go to the bar at 9am, but i wouldn't want that every weekend.

I have to bow to your ability to double task, and even more to your old lady's willingness to accommodate it. Does she make you breakfast as well?

I hate living in the eastern time zone. Grew up in central and watched games in the others. Would love mountain.

You forgot about railing the no pic in there somewhere. Shower sex after the 40 miles?

I can’t really tell the difference between CT and ET. I do like getting things done in the am before football starts and if there’s a late game worth watching, I just stay up. It’s not like I have to get up early the next day.

I will say that going to the early season 8 pm night games at WCU were great way back in the day. @Billanole. can attest. Go Catamounts!

You never enjoyed a Pac 12 after dark night cap?

Seriously? Games start at noon here in NC, and I have games starting at 11 pm. It's awesome. I lived in MT in Arizona, and it absolutely sucked.

That's illegal. And gross.
What's gross about doggy? You don't appreciate a big a.ss up, face down, a.ss rosy red from some slaps, little cellulite jiggling back and forth as you show your lady who's boss?

Nevermind I forgot you are in Pennsylvania.

Doing lady doggies ... whether old or young ... that's gross. I guess, wherever you're from, it's normal. That tracks.

You "forgot" I'm in Pennsylvania ... perhaps because I'm NOT in Pennsylvania.

I've only ever lived in EST .. it's perfectly fine for adults. I like that you can have a full morning to get things done before weekend games start. When you have kids, it can be problematic ... allowing younger kids to watch certain big sporting events (or even SNF/MNF) when they aren't going to end until close to or after midnight ... not optimal.

Some people are perfectly fine with vanilla lay on your back and try not to move sex
