Coaches do it all the time, they get paid then take another job and don't coach in the bowl games.I don’t believe in opt out crap - any player that opts out should lose their scholorship, access to facilities, all RU benefits. That should be an ncaa rule
same for bowl games
what other paid person can opt out of the service they provide for that payment?
stupidest thing I’ve ever seen
Then they can get drafted, play in the NFL, and wind up at LSU.BOWL GAME??????
You should be more worried about those two opting out halfway into the season to get ready for the combine.
U do realize it wasn't a serious question, right? I'm not Fieldhouse al lol.BOWL GAME??????

Agreed, the players being paid are now professionals.I don’t believe in opt out crap - any player that opts out should lose their scholorship, access to facilities, all RU benefits. That should be an ncaa rule

Athletes are special though. They need to be treated with kid gloves, don't they? Today's professional, collegiate, amateur world drives me further and further away each successive day pretty much. Seeing one of our star players IG today flaunting a Lamborghini and Rolex is helping me close the coffin.Agreed, the players being paid are now professionals.
In the real world, you show up for work or you don't get paid.
Funny that you said that because that was the first thing I check when I read the postU do realize it wasn't a serious question, right? I'm not Fieldhouse al lol.
But your thought as to them shutting down at some point may have validity.
Fair enough. Noted.U do realize it wasn't a serious question, right? I'm not Fieldhouse al lol.
With the way things are these day, there may be a thread in a month or two counting down the days until one or both opts out for the season. But your thought as to them shutting down at some point may have validity.
This was really well done…I’m still laughingWe should worry about them opting out of the USC game.
