Kwik Trip raised their price this morning from $4.01 to $4.29 for all the Minneapolis campers/Cabin owners that flow through our fair city every weekend. Monday or Tuesday it will drop below $4.00until next Friday and prices will go back up.
Diesel jumped also.

When's the last (first) time you bought diesel?

Since the new litmus on caring about prices is if one had to pay for the fuel directly, I purchased 20 gallons on Sunday. Now that I met your silly test, are you ready to talk about how the dumass war by the dumass president has tipped us beyond an industry shifting event. And how we most likely will never return to the old price points?

Based on the approach of trying to suppress prices, Iran is letting us hang ourselves and we are doing a great job to hurt us and the global industry/economy. We don't have a way to get back to the old normal, this is now the new normal as planes, trucks, diesels all use the same middle distillates (so really, everything that moves other things).

Mark my words, trump says we will get back to $2. Never gonna happen. We likely never get back down under $4 without market manipulation for gas, and diesel is likely never going back below gas. This is only starting, Iran played trump and is playing a long game.

Edit - and one more item, if the head dumass decides to reduce fuel efficiency standards, that alone will cause prices to rise more. This will also not be seen for a while, but it will happen.

Never heard the saying, “cars run on gasoline, economies run on diesel”? As has been pointed out - diesel for trucks, diesel for trains, diesel for tractors, diesel for ships, diesel for farm equipment, diesel for construction equipment… that you thought you had a “clever point” to make with your insipidly idiotic post is rather amazing to contemplate.

Probably smarter to just throw peanuts at @Fac like the dumb circle animal they are instead of trying to rationalize with them

Average 6 bucks.

California listed in headline 10 bucks.

Retard: Dont forget Donald trump did this......

What do you think that average would be if everything wasnt 2x in cali? I paid 4 bucks a gallon for non ethanol.

using the AAA data

with CA included: average diesel = $6.16
without CA included: average diesel = $6.12

the state with the lowest average is wyoming at $5.83. that average isn't going to move much based on any one state.

It would make a difference of 6 cents, that's how much. And Donald Trump DID do this, no question about it, retard.

Without California, the national average price for a gallon of diesel would drop from roughly $6.00 to about $5.94. [1]

Price Breakdown
    • National Average: Approximately $6.00 per gallon.
    • California Average: Reached a record high of $8.15 per gallon.
    • Excluding California: Removing the high-cost outlier of CA brings the remaining 49-state average down to roughly $5.94

Biden's fault!

In all seriousness, Trump’s Truth Social posts so far today make it increasingly clear that he is panicking. The midterms are 6 weeks away. The war has spread to include multiple Iranian-aligned groups in Yemen and Iraq. Energy markets are going through the roof, and set to get worse with the destruction of the East-West Pipeline… Trump is panicking and desperate.

Are you unaware of how much of our trade goods are transported via diesel burning vehicles? (It's nearly 3/4ths)
sometimes politics is confusing...it seems like only yesterday folks were complaining about gas/diesel powered vehicles as being polluters. Now all of a sudden diesel/gas prices are higher and we're complaining about that.
