So many of the other podcasts are just homers up there hyping the team with "Iowa looked fantastic" type superlatives. But when you listen to them, they just don't seem to really know the game. These guys know the game.

CR boys that loved the Hawks. Played HS Ball and loved studying film. Connor played one year up at St. Thomas, that it. They both are obsessed with the Hawks and they both spent lots of time studying 10 years worth of Iowa games because, well they are football geeks. Both are lawyers up in Minneapolis. Their podcasts don't drop hours after the game like other folks, they put time and work into the podcast before actually just throwing something against the wall like so many others do.

Great one as always! They barely talked about Hecklinski at all, and mentioned Brown was the clearly superior prospect (more potential) which I agree with after watching week 1. Compared him to Drake Lindsey at Minny who is getting some round 3 hype with potential to break into round 1 with a good year. You can teach Brown to be more aggressive, you can’t teach Hecklinski how to be taller, faster, and have a bigger arm. Brown is the higher potential QB and is the better one today as well.

I was on the Hecklinski hype train rolling in but after watching week 1 I have completely jumped ship. The sooner Brown is declared the starter the better IMO.

Always refreshing to hear these guys, they know schemes, key match ups, and what is necessary for us to win and get to the next level. Intelligent and thoughtful discussion. Infinitely better than retards who yell run the ball over and over again.
