Was Michigan football vs Western Michigan.
And second chances. If it’s meatchicken they will always get the calls!!
The moment they put one second back on the clock his face popped into my mind. I was wondering if he had something to do with it.Dave Witvoet would approve of that game ending.
At the Orange Bowl rally that year, Joe told the alumni: "If the refs could count to 2, we'd be undefeated. We'd beat Southern Cal in the morning and Texas at night!"Just like they added 2 seconds vs us back in 2005. B10 refs ride meatchicken nuts.
I agree. I was wondering which of his family members UM took as a hostage before kickoff. The WMU head coach was incredibly composed considering his team was just robbed.

Perhaps in the same category was Rutgers failure to cancel its fireworks display after UMass curb-stomped them at their home opener.lol Michigan fans stormed the field after that "win" yesterday ... over Western Michigan.

Michigan fans storm field after miracle Hail Mary TD vs Western Michigan
A miracle in Michigan led to Wolverines fans to storm the field after Kyle Whittingham's team came back to beat Western Michigan in controversial win.www.usatoday.com
This would be like Iowa fans storming the mat after winning Soldier Salute.

I'll keep this in a football thread, but it's a wrestling question.
Why does wrestling stop for blood time?
No, but I am jealous.Is this @Wrestleknownothing X account?
They also sent the request to the Playoff Committee. The MAC has asked the NCAA to consider the game a win for Western Michigan. Turns out the replay officials didn't follow protocol.
This is looking more and more like the '72 Olympic basketball game.
Just a note that the officials are not NCAA, but B1G. The FBS level of football is not really governed by the NCAA.They also sent the request to the Playoff Committee.
This could get real ugly. Western Michigan has a legit shot at the Group of 6 playoff spot. They're preseason MAC favorites, and their toughest remaining nonconference game is Boise State at home. If they otherwise win out and miss the playoffs due to NCAA officials not following in-game protocol, they'd have grounds to sue for lost playoff revenue.
NCAA would be best advised to reverse the outcome now. Not that they ever do what's best.
Olympic officials and Big10 officials. They both know how to make the wrong call at just the right moment. The MAC has asked the NCAA to consider the game a win for Western Michigan. Turns out the replay officials didn't follow protocol.

Most officiating scandals have lead to changes. The Roy Jones Jr. robbery lead to changing how boxing was officated/scored, losing wrestling gave us the paddle system, the Referines calling Tony Johnson OB ultimately lead to the replay system.Olympic officials and Big10 officials. They both know how to make the wrong call at just the right moment.
