I said s*** I'll give my take on Burns and Lincolnton game. I know it was just East Gaston but we did start finding a passing game last week which gives them a little confidence in that. I don't know the yards but I'd guess it to be over 100. Max finally got going for a quarter last week too, but that's all he played. Burns is definitely the underdog going into the Wolves Den but I believe Burns can go win. We just need to get some completions and get Lincolnton to soften up a little in the box. As for defense we have to contain the edges and get pressure on the QB. We've played very solid defense except the KM game and we were just over matched 2-1 in that game it seemed.
Either way I think it's gonna be closer than some may be thinking, Burns can go win this game, but we have to play mistake free and control the ball.

Protect the ball and pound it between the tackles. Keep Lincolnton's offense off the field. That is the way. It'll be hard to out athlete them.
Yep but we gotta get some completions to loosen them up in the box and not just sit on that run with 9 guys

Hopefully after this week, we give Case the QB spot and let him play. We have Bessemer City & West Lincoln after L-Town. I'd really like to see Case get 2 full games under his belt and get comfortable. I know I keep saying it but that kid is gonna be a special QB for Burns for part of this year and the next 3. But all that's above my pay grade to make those decisions
Is Case a freshman and more of a mobile qb or more of a traditional pocket passer? Lincolnton's DB are very opportunistic bunch. The only area I really give us the edge is at QB. And yours may be equally talented, I just give the edge to the senior over the freshman. I know your RB and receivers are great athletes, and I know you guys are typically bigger/stronger than us up front on both sides. Burns Middle School team is usually bigger than our varsity. I think this will be a great game. We are way ahead in turnover margin so far, but way behind in penalty yards. Gotta eliminate those to beat good teams.
Yes he's the freshman. He hasn't really shown off his legs yet so I honestly can't say. I will say he's gotten out of a couple plays that probably should have been sacks. But is he a true deal threat QB? I'm not sure. I do know he can sling it 60 yards in the air. Pocket passer and and can take off if needed if say at this point. If # 12 gets in at QB for us, that's him. Just watch him, his demeanor. It's not that of a freshman

I would definitely give you guys the edge at QB and LB and maybe even secondary. I think Burns has the edge at RB and along both the OL & DL. Special teams, turnovers, penalties and ball control will determine this game. Just my opinion
The Cramer guys will definitely be keeping up with this one.
