It’s hard to argue with this list.

I found The Great Gatsby to be a stinker, but what to replace it with? I would choose Jeremiah Johnson.

The Natural is, by far, number one for me.

I didn't think it was bad, but yeah, Redford's Gatsby isn't a great picture. The Baz Luhrmann one with DiCaprio was really good, imo.

"Three Days of the Condor" isn't there.
And with respect to everything else, "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" has to be #1.

This afternoon I watched Three Days of the Condor on Prime. A great movie. A great performance by a young Redford.

Not a movie but he played the grim reaper in a Twilight Zone episode before he was famous. Pretty good episode too.

I am again working my way through The Twilight Zone. Almost done with season 2. Haven’t seen Redford yet.

Season 3 Episode 16. I go through the Twilight Zones constantly. Love them. Don't care for many of the 1 hour episodes.

How do you like Night Gallery? I think that is great also. Serling wanted the hour-long format to better develop the story and characters.

I do like Night Gallery. Haven't seen it in years though.

Haven't we already beaten "iconic" to death several times over?

As far back as 2009 it was already so overused that it made Lake Superior University's list of words that should be banished. One writer said:

"It's becoming the new 'awesome' - overused to the point where everything from a fast-food restaurant chain to celebrities is 'iconic.'" Jodi Gill, New Berlin, Wisc.

I say we give "iconic" a nice funeral, say a few words over it, and bury it.

Well done, sir! You drug out a tired, old trope to claim the word iconic is over-used.
