I would take State -1.5 on this on this one all day. Then again after what happened between Michigan and Western Michigan I am not sure I trust anything. Point is we shouldn’t let it get anywhere near that close vs then. When’s the last time they’ve had a decent team out of curiosity?

I think we'll be favored 3 1/2 or more by kickoff .
True, I’m hoping they overlook us. I haven’t bet since the days of BodogSports.com. When they were still up, I’d bet like $30 and win on a three-team parlay win like $300. That was probably 10 years ago, though, or at least 9. It would be easy for me to figure out when it was because my fiancée and I stayed in the large penthouse on top of the River Inn in Harbor Town in Memphis for a little while. I love it out there. The first night we were there is when I won it. It was no big deal, but it felt like it and was fun. Anyways, I’m rambling on. My apologies.

Harbor town is cool. 25-30 years ago, I had a buddy that lived there. I'd hang at the community pool and play volleyball. Ah, good ole day of young adulthood.

keeping on topic, former Memphis radio guy, Rainman, always said parleys are sucker bets. That has always stuck with me. Congrats on your parlay win though.

Boy are you right about about young adulthood I lost out on most of my childhood but my grandparents got custody of me as my Sister died when I was 5 and my Dad when I was 8, two of my heroes. My mother was sorry and put me in an abusive household with a dickhead that was ruthlessly abusive but they saved me after about 2 years. So my teenage and young adult years were dear to me. What do you mean by sucker bets? Hard to win the multiple game parlays? I suppose I got it right and a little luck never hurt. Lol these days I pray a good bit but can’t buy good health. Next surgery Is about to happen for me and it’s a doozy.

Parlay.... while they lure you in with higher odds on wins, the bettor wins more often betting 3 games individually.

Parlay odds are in the house's favor. But people bet parlays all the time.

Minnesota's home record recently is going to make this game particularly tricky. If we can win this then the hype train will be rolling unlike it's ever been rolling before.

Their home record is a little deceiving. Won 8 in a row there but 7 of those teams sucked, the one decent win was against a 7-6 Nebraska last year. They made that game as ugly as they possibly could and won 24-6. Had like 9 sacks in that game.

They don’t want to get into a track meet with us. They want to hold onto the ball for 75% of the game, force Kamario into turnovers, and beat us 20-10 or something like that. They are basically a less talented version of Iowa or the Stoops era Kentucky teams and their play style is very similar. Feast on mistakes and play it safe on offense.
