Terminations and fines at minimum are in order, if not legal proceedings. On top of that, the correct outcome of the game should be instated immediately, with WMU sitting at 1-0 and Michigan 0-1. The integrity of the sport (what little remains of it at this point) was brazenly violated tonight.
No one will be getting fired

If this was Nebraska, Purdue, Iowa, Northwestern or Michigan State, anyone here think the officiating crew bends over and gives them an extra :01?

Big Ten has always looked out for its darlings. What a corrupt, despicable cesspool of a conference.
Ohio State and Michigan run the place. But aside from the usual blue blood officiating bias the worst I can say about Ohio State is cheesy jokes about free tattoos when that wasn't allowed.

As for Michigan this sh*t has been going on for literal decades. Hell I remember watching some of their games back in the early/mid 00s and it was obvious to even my child brain that some shady stuff was going on in Ann Arbor. Tonight was especially heinous yes. But it's nothing new I'm afraid just usually not as blatantly obvious.

NU vs PSU, the latter caught a ball OUT OF BOUNDS and refs gave it to him, PSU went on to win natty.
CU vs Mizzou, CU given a 5th down for a natty.
Sometimes the game is SO RIGGED!

To add insult to injury, Michigan ran a blatant (albeit well designed) pick play on the last gift play.

Watch Michigan #18. He cut in front of the receiver that made the catch. By design.

Collides with multiple W Michigan defenders, taking them out of the play, as designed. Never made a play on the ball, never even got his hands above his waist. He was the designed pick, and it worked.

Except that it's illegal. For this exact reason.

Reminds me of the 2021 Nebraska Michigan game where Michigan was gifted a touchdown right before halftime. We were in a position to hold them to a field goal right before halftime- just a few seconds left,
Ball is thrown way way over the receivers head, and wide- obvious non catchable ball- not anywhere close. Pass interference - they score The on next play like 3 seconds before halftime. Can’t call pass interference on uncatchable balls unless it’s a blue blood vs a newbie. Gifting Michigan a Td instead of field goal right before halftime was egregious. That was the difference in the game - Michigan and the BIG are definitely corrupt. Best game of the Frost era imo. Great game to be at

Except for watching Nebraska, I’m through with college football, after watching that rigged game I’m done. since the big 12 championship game the officials wrongly watched the replay, it’s my understanding that’s a non reviewable play similar to a penalty but the powers to be wanted a different outcome! Last night was even worse. I know one person doesn’t mean anything but I’m done. And btw an old big 8 fan we don’t root for conference foes screw the rest of the big 10

B1G network is showing the view the replay refs have of the “official” clock and the play and discussing it. People forget that the scoreboard clock isn’t normally considered the official clock but this smells horribly.

BTN post game show spending a lot of time talking about the Michigan game EXCEPT the clock issue. Cowards.

Let's see what fox says here at halftime
The big ten officials were doing damage control working on the narrative of how the clocks weren’t synchronized thats why the refs were allowed to put one second back on the clock. what a joke make up the rules after the fact. Like Kong would say the big ten is a joke and it sucks what a embarrassment

It’s called cya
I have one rebuttal, when a play is reviewed and say the crew says the call was overturned please reset the game clock to say 5:30 ins of 5:45 so the big 10s narrative is BS

It’s going to interesting if there is an official big Ten response. Now if Western Michigan doesn’t send anything in there obviously won’t be a response. And I know nothing will be done regardless but it would be nice to force the BIG to at least admit it was handled incorrectly.

They already did. Standing by it. And the Mac responded thanking the B1G for the explanation. Everyone seems to be accepting of it I guess.

How is the b1g review centers clock not synched with the game clock. NBC confirmed their clock was synched with the game clock. Why didn't the b1g review center correct the clock earlier in the game if they weren't correct. Many times officials tell clock operator to reset the clock. I would assume that automatically resets at the review center. Maybe the b1g needs to admit they made a mistake

Coaching is a big fraternity of sorts. Most coaches and admins will choose not to shake the cart. Especially MAC coaches and admins looking to move up the ranks into bigger and better jobs. Disappointing- not a Michigan fan. Awful

Ya there are basically 3 clocks in play hey the stadium clock. The Broadcast clock and the review center clock. NBC has already confirmed their Broadcast cast clock was in sync with the stadium clock. Apparently the review clock was not in even though the Rules analyst doesn’t understand how it’s not? My question is why isn’t WM or the MAC forcing the BIG to provide the still picture of the okay in question to prove to the world there was 1 second on the clock when the ball was touched by the WM defender.

My post below I said the BIG should have to provide the still picture of the review that shows 1 second on the review clock when the ball touches the WM player. There word only should not be good enough.

To this day, I don't think Nebraska got screwed in that. Film and clocks definitely show 1 second on the clock when the ball was touched.

I don’t believe The ball was ever touched. Bit I agree there was 1 second when it was in cleary off the field of play .

Ya it doesn’t make sense. At some point in every game there is going to be a review that includes a clock adjustment. As you say at the point both clocks should be back in sync if they weren’t before.

Yeah Texas got wildly lucky when the ball hit a grandstand railing. If not for that, clock might have shown zeroes before it touched anything.

That screw job just reminded me of the screw job on Nebraska vs Texas 🤮 and even worse the BIG released a statement saying after they reviewed it, it was the correct call SMH… you almost comical how bad BIG 10 officiating is, and how complacent the conference itself is with it

Was watching ESPN the game on is in a weather delay. They showed highlights and talked. The MAC in a statement that the BiG provided video of the play in question and he said it backed up the ruling. Now I take that 2ways the clock wasn’t in sync with the game clock was true. Or the MAC commissioner is playing the game and keeping those paychecks coming in from the power conferences. If it’s the Former the BIG should release the video and let networks post to show.

I hate Michigan. It was a good call. #18 of WM stepped on the out of bounds line before he jumped to touch the ball. When he touched the ball the play was dead. He touched it with 1 second remaining, long before the ball hit the ground.

That’s not what the TV replay showed. Even the former ref as the rules analyst said it was on 0 before he touched it . Now the Big said the review center clock showed time on the clock and that’s why the ruled what they ruled. So unless you were in the review center you’re full of **** .

Look Einstein the Big already said that the review center clock was obviously not in sync with the game clock but the Review center clock is their official clock which they use . So basically they said regardless of the game clock we go by this clock . And everyone including the Big , NBC and the rules analyst said it was on 0 except you .

you do realiz using AI you can change things to look correct, since the big ten waited several hours before releasing their footage the fix was in since western did complain and cause a uproar the got a really nice bonus check. Then they showed the altered footage. Remember the big ten said nbcs clock was off not the stadium so if there was actual one sec left the stadium clock would be shown that. Remember how Fred and the boys got screwed playing iin Ann Arbor 25 or so free throws to 3 advantage to Michigan.
