In both instances, time should not have been added. Every damn play, the game clock stops AFTER the time keeper sees the ball hit or better yet, sees the ref make the signal. But in these cases, they made an exception.

Time shouldn't be added to the clock unless there's been a play overturned or the clock keeps running for several seconds in an obvious mistake.

You know what is going on with the stadium construction, will have much lower attendance in 2027 and needed the additional home game to generate the income needed. All construction is debt driven, as are the contracts, and extensions. The athletic department doesn't have a billion dollars sitting in liquidity, that would be insane. Getting another home game is certainly a strategy in maintaining a margin, and dumping Tennessee is certainly a strategy at keeping the fan base happier for a few more games but these decisions aren't made solely because we "don't have the money".

If we needed the money they wouldn't have extended Rhule. A home game makes 8-10 million...didn't they hand Rhule 2-3 extra home games worth of money during his last extension?

I'm going to push back just a little.. Short term economic only thinking is what has been killing the golden goose. I think you should use your feelings and intuitions in business too.. try not to destroy your asset in the process of only value extraction.
