yet this team still managed to kick our butts in Columbia in 2025, even though that was their worst team in 15 years.

That Clemson team at least had a competent QB. It appears that this one does not. They have a lot of work to do to have a reasonably decent season this year. it's really bad when a team is practicing their 2 Pt. conversions on you.

I do not disagree with you, they looked really bad tonight, it will be interesting to see what they manage to do against the softer opponents this season. I am not used to seeing Clemson with major issues at QB either.

That team produces 9 Draft picks, and replaced them with the 25th recruiting class. We signed 4 fewer players and ranked 10 classes higher. Also, Shula broke Sellers's psyche before that game and we didnt have an OC. Last season Carolina is illustrative of Shula being a crap coach more than anything.

Lane Kiffin is an immoral POS and LSU is a tepid cesspool breeding ground for scum sucking egomaniac coaches like Miles, Orgeron, Kelly, Kiffin. I will pull for Clemson all day long over the port-a-potty swamp **** stain Baton Rouge Tigers.

I despise kiffin more than dabo but hate clemson more than lsu. Having said that, I thought the "imagine if we had pro players " comment was funny even though I hate what it's doing to the game.

I've seen some commenters on taternet suggesting that the Clemson players looked smaller and less conditioned than LSU's. I remember thinking the exact same thing about our players during Spurrier's disastrous last (half) season.

The taters will probably go on to play for the ACC Championship and maybe make the playoffs, but they do suck!
Miami is the team to beat in the ACC. Virginia may be a contender. Need to watch the game tomorrow night to see what kind of team Southern Methodist has.

I think Clemson looked worse more than LSU looked elite.

Possibly. I had this crazy notion that LSU was on our schedule this year. So I was sizing them up. But I am glad they are not.

So impartially, I think LSU is a playoff team, and a dangerous one.

What a difference in team strength. LSU on a different level than Clemson all over the field.

Clemson looked like an FCS team against LSU. They looked smaller, slower, less well coached and generally grossly overmatched.

I have no real love for Clemson, but that game surprised me. Dabo is going to have to pull out a 10 win season somehow if he wants to stay around. On the other hand, firing Dabo would be the most expensive buyout in college football history. Clemson pretty well permanently hitched its wagon to Dabo, at least until the end of this contract. Things are going to get interesting and ugly up in Pickens county.
