He’s built a pretty impressive company beyond just being an influencer. Sold it for $500m+ and bought it back for $1. Tough to argue with his success. He plays the insufferable character very well.

Newsflash- that was last year. It's a new year with a totally revamped roster. And Harasymiak rebuilt Maine in the first year and had them rolling in the second year. Seems a lot of folks love pity parties. Maybe UMass is a decent team. That does not excuse the absolute dysfunctional team Greg put on the field, just saying last year does not matter.

Western Michigan was 10-4 last year and Boise State was 9-5. These are programs with long histories of success and have often challenged P4 teams. UMass is at the bottom of the food chain, and should be an easy scrimmage for any P2 team.

People need to understand that the news cycle lasts about a day or two until the next event to lure the masses of lemmings attention. The only ones who care about RU losing to UMass will be R fans after this weekend of other football games and especially so once the NFL games begin. Our season is likely over already and the real thing that matters is what happens going forward, not what is said in the immediacy of a terrible showing. In terms of PR.....the thing that matters most in sports is winning, not what guys like Portnoy post or say. As you well know, RU winning will come down to the next coach and how much money he will have to bring in talented players and coaches. Those revelling in misery on this board are pathetic IMO.
