Man, I just wish we had made some headway with the pass game. Looks same old same old today, despite Diaz being a dude.
Probably the worst team that's came into Kinnick in decades.......... but it is still fun to watch!

Been a lot of drops - you convert a couple of those and the passing game has looked great
is it just me or was the catching part a bit scary...he seemed to have positioned himself poorly to begin this adventure
I'm actually really encouraged today even though NIU has not been good.
We've just been reading things well. There's little to no hesitation on when to attack. And we have been blanketing everything they've tried to do today, at least while the game was still being taken seriously.
The pass rush is a concern imo. And still not sold on either QB against better competition.
Maintain our streak and get it out of the way in game 1.
McNeil hasn't looked good - too indecisive
Yeah I haven't been overly impressed with either guy's deep ball. But with Iowa it's never something to be overly worried about because well.............

People have to be biased AF to think Hank looks worse than Heck. Hanks miscues have been barely off. Heck just looks so unpolished. Sure he is flashy with the feet which I get you people drool over but man the offense has run smoother with Hank.

Yeah, I'm old enough to have seen more bumbling, unathletic teams come into Kinnick Stadium (and I'm a man, I'm only 40)...........but comparatively speaking, this NIU team by 2026 standards is pretty goddam bad.

What concerns me is the over reliance on one guy and accuracy issues. There really wasn’t much pressure on the QBs either
If this is the real Iowa we're seeing today, I have no doubt they should be able to handle ISU next week.
But ISU will be coming in with nothing to lose and as always its their Super Bowl. They'd love nothing more than to be the reason Iowa misses out on the CFP or best possible bowl in late December/early January.

Yes given NIU is awful.... But the dline has looked so much better today than I was expecting
