Brown is prob the #1 based on today’s evidence but he’s also benefitted from running game and less penalties
He kinda reminds me of Petras before he became scared/scarred. Makes some decent throws. Misses some others. Doesn’t really wow you with anything

NIU blitzing a sh** ton now going for broke.
Need to start dialing into whatever our blitz beater play is.
Brown stuck with his read on that drive to end the half, rather than checking to the RB who was releasing open underneath, and the blitz disrupted his timing.
Then on our last drive, Heck is bothered multiple times by the blitz as we stick with our base receiver route progressions.
NIU has conceded the game and are just trying to save face by getting ultra aggressive in the box.
Need to make them pay a couple times, and then you can go back to your f***ing basic, clock burning, low energy offense.

I think this is pretty accurate. Hard to tell for sure bc this NIU offense is junior high quality - but the D has done EVERYTHING they needed to today. Offense started hot, but has really tapered off.
I think it's game-dependent, and he's gonna be on a "carry count".

Heck should have tucked it and ran for the TD on second down. Entire right side was open on the rollout

Is there a reason we don’t let our TEs work the middle of the field in the red zone? That should be an instant mismatch in our favor!
