Colandrea is just a winner. Doesn't always look pretty but once he gets going, he can carry his team for quarters at a time. I said when he first transferred from UNLV that if you watched any of his games, he'll have like 2-3 drives where nothing goes well and then once he gets down 10-14 points, he becomes unbelievable. The key is getting some stops on defense once he gets rolling. UNLV often gave up a ton of points so he'd have to be nearly perfect to get wins and he would. He did it again today, was down 6 then nearly lights out the rest of the game. Defense got stops and he stacked TDs.

QB play was strong.
He threw away when pressured where Riola would have been sacked.
The counter game helped him- play action toss off of wham counter look

He looked pretty solid. Not going to wow anyone with either arm strength or accuracy, but he has enough of both to move the chains.
I thought he showed good velocity. He missed some throws where I think he was being careful about not putting the ball at risk. The grounding inside the 5 was stupid. His feet made a huge difference in the game. Gilmore dropped a couple of gimmes.

Was disappointed in that group today. Way too many drops.

Gilmore had the only egregious drops I saw from my vantage point. He had one drop across the middle where he saw a safety was going to break him in two.

Yeah he has an adequate arm. I don’t see him as a big field-stretcher, but like I said in the game thread, it was a nice change to see our QB set his feet and put some zip on the ball.

2026...its never been a better time to be a WR in regards to being protected from getting blown up across the middle. with that being said I'll give him some grace for the 1st game of the season but not anymore.

AC is a gamer. He has the it factor. It is something we haven’t had in a long time. And the RB room looked pretty strong today. One game at a time. Get better every week.

I'm not as down on the WR's as several of you are. Yeah, the drops were ridiculous.

GIlmer's drops were bad, but his good catches were fantastic. Barney looks more patient in looking for the hole and making things happen rather than just run fast - I think we'll be okay at WR.

The Ducks were like 3 plays away from losing to Boise. I don't think Dylan will win the starting job in 27. He's a detriment. He has no athletic ability.

You might want rewatch it. There were at least 5 that I can remember that should've been caught. One wasn't perfect a bit low but guy got both hands under the ball and didn't catch it.

For a position that supposed to be the strength of the offense we gotta make those. Hell our top 3 WRs are single digit guys. Catch the damn ball!
