The Then held on that last 20 seconds for THE WIN!!!!
Kalen Mason again had the game of the year ( 59 Yd TD, 45 Yd TD, 28 for 260 YDs) but it was a td pass that actually put the tying points on the board and an extra point that gave the margin.

Great comeback win for sure I figured they would hand it to us like last year . Mt airy throws the ball some also something they need to do every game

The play that cost Watauga they pick up a first down running out the clock and fumble with 2 minutes to go. No fumble games over. Really good drive for MA to go 80 yards with no timeouts. Good coaching and QB made good decisions

Habich said in every interview he did preseason that his team was extremely young and not to be compared to last year's team. Not taking away from mt airys win just pointing out this Watauga team isn't a 6A contender at the moment.
