There's a reason that Penn State alums consider Iowa fans the bottom of the barrel when it comes to Big Ten partisans. This post ^^^^ is just another example why that is the case. Joe Paterno did not "enable it all." That is just FAR from reality. Sandusky retired from Penn State years before the events giving rise to his scandal occurred. Moreover, pedophilia and sexual abuse have occurred at a number of campuses in recent years, but all we ever seem to hear about (particularly from Iowa fans) is Penn State. Don't think so? Here's a partial list:

Major University Athletics and Faculty Scandals

• University of Michigan: In 2022, the university agreed to a $490 million financial payout to settle claims with more than 1,000 people. The victims reported they were sexually assaulted by the late sports physician Dr. Robert Anderson during his decades-long tenure. [1, 2]
