On a side note- let me say I do love the passion, commitment and involvement that you 2-3 SC posters have on here. Good for ya'll. SP fans/posters have apparently gone by the wayside on here for the most part. I guess a generation of backers have either died off or are in hibernation.

oh sorry. Are you saying the well-recruited Rockingham County Reidsville would've beaten SP? The only 5a team AND BELOW in the state beating SP LAST year was Crest.... and they did it. I guess you are saying that Reidsville was as good as Crest?
By that same logic though...the 1A champ would've smoked Stuart Cramer.
update; You keep delving into these fantasy-like scenarios. Football is played on the field....IF you schedule a team.
I’m not saying that at all. Reidsville would not have beaten Crest just like you guys didn’t and nothing wrong with that. Crest was head and shoulders the best team last year. This entire site is fantasy. All opinions and what ifs. I mean on here I can be a Pimp from Oakland or a Cowboy from Arizona. Very few facts on this site.

How’s the Cramer D this year?
How’s the SP D this year?

from what I’ve read, SP is like always gonna shove it down your throat. Are there any threats in the pass game.

SC by stats looks similar, they’re running at will. But tossing it around more this year.

I try to watched the Cramer game on that NFHS site today but couldn’t find it.

I’m looking forward to watching SP this weekend. Hard to tell much about Cramer yet. Several starters only played the first half last Friday. September 25th we should know more about Cramer.

I have seen one Ashbrook game. Obviously they're young on defense. But some of those pieces they have on offense.....whew! 2 and 28 especially. B/w those two, the qb, rb and another couple skill guys they could be lethal in the right system. We will see how they go. Sloppy as usual, but they have some individually explosive players on offense.

Are they on the team? That’s gotta be a crazy feeling from the doom and gloom from some pretty bad years to now.

SP vs. TCR should be an interesting game ! SP has played better in first 2 games, than I thought they would. Go Big Red !!
These are the best SP teams.. let ppl overlook em.. they think they will suck.. of course they will lose a few games..( maybe not ) then make a run at the state title.

In good conscience....how did you allow that to happen :ROFLMAO:
I married a transplant that could care less and refused to move :ROFLMAO:..... I honestly lost sleep over it leading up but now we are very happy. We did not come through Belmont feeders so it was some easier. During elementary my wife was in a classroom which brought him through Rankin. From there he went to Stanley via STEM.

Fun activity: How would yall rank each team from Gaston County regardless of classification?
SP
Ashbrook

big drop, then:
Stuart Cramer
Hunter Huss
Forestview

holy god....it gets real bad here...
East Gaston **this wasn't the case for the longest time. But, they hired a 22 year old HC and SC recruits a lot of their better players so maybe the asterisk should be beside SC?
Cherryville
Bessemer City
North Gaston
Highland Tech
*Hard to consider MIC on this list as a GACO school w/ it being Private.

Cherryville could possibly beat east gaston..MIC isn't a private though.

Are you ranking the football programs or the teams this year?

Are you ranking the football programs themselves, or the teams this year?
Teams this year. If I was ranking the programs FV and EG would have to be higher based on consistency over a span of the last decade.

I was confused because you had SC and Forestview in the same tier after a 42-6 ball game, and Forestview ahead of EG, who beat them 33-16. Just confused me, thank you for the clarification.

My mistake....FV supposed to be between EG and Cherryville. Not a shot to FV....but easy to overlook the last couple years.

Only the 1-2 guys with 12 different user names on here would agree. 1a and 1b is funny. SC would get blown out by 21 plus points. Still way less fast, physical and fundamental. It is easy to see.
You can't have TEs playing safety. Make some moves before you play Lincolnton and Shelby and give yourself a chance for god's sake. You have competed with one team that has "good" line play thus far (Hibriten)... but lost that one, too. Gotta learn how to do that stuff. Tape exists.

Are you referring to the safety that had the 3rd most INT's (6) in 4a last season? or the other safety who had 4?

Cramer literally has the 4a state champion 400m runner playing corner and slot, I'd say that speed isn't bad.

I will give you credit that our lines were not the strongest on the field last year, hopefully they took that loss to Hibriten as a wake up call and got in the weight room this off-season.

I put 1a and 1b because the state split the teams up and we won't get to see who would win this year but gave respect to SP due to their history of trouncing Cramer. I just don't think 21+ is a reliable number to use for that game.

I got one more year to halfway pull for SC...the nephew will graduate and hopefully keep playing college ball.

If the DL can't stop a SP OL and they get 2nd level to those LB it may be a good prediction 21+ ... When that SP O is clicking its a long night...and when that SP OL gets dominated its a long night for them....

LOL - everybody knows who would win.
The "state" split the teams up? Come on man....
I didn't say SC team was slow...but they aren't as fast as SPs team.
Nobody cares about stats in a league where you face:
Highland Tech, Cherryville, Bessemer City, West Lincoln (present day program), East Gaston AND your non-conf are NG and Forestview.
That is 7 games against the near-handicapped.

Triton SC....you do realize that this and about 4-5 other "names" were all created within the same week, right?

When has the OL been dominated? I can think of 2 games in the last 15 years.
