Moogy, I'm not going to entertain your whataboutism that you have projected onto me.

You said I claimed US deserved 9/11. I didn't say that. You said that I said that and can't provide a quote where I said it.

He's just lashing out with the attacks maga uses on Piker.

Whataboutism occurs when someone deflects from an accusation by failing to address said accusation, and, instead makes a counter-accusation or brings up a different topic entirely.

I clearly addressed the original accusation ... ergo, it's not whataboutism. Now, take out your swastika embossed hanky, dry your eyes, and try again.

A whataboutismism occurs when a there is a thread about Israeli settler violence and say 'what about these past Muslim things?'

No need to gaslight the meaning of a whataboutism to suit your needs, dumbass.

whataboutism
/ˌ(h)wədəˈboudizəm/
Whataboutism is a rhetorical tactic used to deflect an accusation or difficult question by making a counter-accusation or raising a different issue instead of addressing the original point. [1]

--------------------------------

As stated, I addressed the original point. Nice to see you throw in throwing out the term "gaslighting," too. You're trying all the weak argumentative short-cuts here. "Whataboutism!" "Gaslighting!"

Meanwhile, you hate Israel and the Jews, and attack them in defense of those who terrorize Americans.

You need to re-edit it. Holy fook.

Regardless, these sorts of unacceptable actions have been occurring by Israeli settlers for quite some time, and have little or nothing to do with the recent aggressive actions by the Israeli government toward Palestinians/Hamas. We can track those latter actions back to the terrorist attack by Palestinians/Hamas on Israel, in which they murdered and raped a whole lot of Israeli citizens within the borders of Israel, in furtherance of their acting upon their proclamation that Israel must be wiped off the map. If Hamas would just come out of their hiding places and fight like men, Israel wouldn't have to go around razing portions of their territory to find them.

So your stance is that the violence by Israeli settlers has ramped up following the Oct. 7th attacks, so that I was correct to bring that aspect of the situation into the discussion, and your claims of whataboutism are completely meritless?

Interesting.

Interesting.

My stance is Israel's settler violence and stealing of land in the West Bank is bad. I don't need to dig up stuff from the past to justify how I believe it to be bad.

You'll figure it out someday, little fellar.

Perhaps they wouldn't be compelled to settle the area if the Muslim world would stop threatening their very existence. And acting on those threats.

That's a dangerously similar claim to "maybe those women wouldn't be getting raped if they stopped dressing like whores"

fskillet nails it!

Being repeatedly blown up by someone who has threatened to end your existence is samesies as dressing provocatively.

Were you absent the day they taught school?

We were almost out of Israelis until they started attacking Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia, Iran, West Bank, Qatar, and Yemen.

Seems like Israel is maybe wee bit aggressive.

Daring to question Israel brings out the bots and their amplifiers.
Short answer, I question the value of my tax dollars going to support what's going on in the West Bank, Gaza, or Southern Lebanon right now. In particular settlers attack, and have killed, civilians while IDF soldiers stand around and watch. They attack journalists and aid workers. Why Israel gets unquestioned support from so many in the US baffles me.

Are you guys just really young and/or uninformed, so you're learning about the conflicts over there for the first time, via the Palestinian propaganda? Or did you just decide to turn on Israel because Trump supports them?

When/how did you lose your way?

Key Radical Settler Groups
Radical settler networks consist of loosely organized movements, vigilante militias, and political organizations:
  • Hilltop Youth (No'ar HaGva'ot): A network of young, ultra-nationalist religious extremists who build unauthorized agricultural outposts on rural West Bank hilltops. They act as the primary frontline force executing raids, arson attacks, and intimidation against nearby Palestinian communities.
  • Lehava: A far-right organization led by Ben-Zion Gopstein. While based heavily inside Israel and Jerusalem, its members frequently collaborate with West Bank hilltop extremists, focusing on anti-Arab vigilantism, ethnic segregation, and street violence.
  • Tzav 9 & Vigilante Brigades: Direct-action groups formed or expanded in recent years that organize blockades, destroy humanitarian aid trucks bound for Gaza, and organize armed patrols across West Bank roadways.
  • HaHashomer Yosh: An organization framed as a volunteer farming aid network that provides guards, logistics, and equipment to isolated settler outposts, enabling them to clear out surrounding Palestinian grazing lands.
Origins and Ideology
1. Historical Origins

  • Gush Emunim (1974): The historical foundation of religious settlement building began after the 1967 Six-Day War, driven by Gush Emunim ("Block of the Faithful"), which viewed the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) as Biblical land that must be repopulated by Jews to fulfill divine prophecy.
  • The "Grab the Hilltops" Call (1998): Modern radical youth movements formed after then-Defense Minister Ariel Sharon urged settler youth to "grab the hilltops" to establish facts on the ground and preempt peace talks (such as the Wye River Memorandum).
  • The 2005 Gaza Disengagement: A critical turning point occurred when Israel unilaterally withdrew from the Gaza Strip and dismantled four northern West Bank settlements. Radical youth felt betrayed by mainstream settler leadership and the Israeli state, causing them to break away from traditional authority, reject government laws, and embrace anti-state anarchy.
2. Core Philosophy & Strategy
  • Kahanism & Jewish Supremacy: The dominant ideological framework stems from Rabbi Meir Kahane (whose party was banned in Israel for racism). It preaches the complete expulsion of Arabs from the land, views compromise as treason, and rejects Western democratic norms in favor of a fundamentalist religious state.
  • Price Tag Strategy (Tag Mechir): Formulated around 2008, this doctrine dictates that for any action taken by the Israeli government against unauthorized outposts—or any attack by Palestinian militants—extremists must exact a immediate "price" through violence against local Palestinian civilians, mosques, or farmland to deter state enforcement.
  • "Hebrew Labor" and Anti-Modernism: Unlike established settlements that hire local workers or build fenced suburban communities, hilltop radicals practice strict self-reliance, living off the grid, herding livestock, and shunning modern Israeli/Western culture.
What They Were Up To Before Oct. 7
Prior to October 2023, these groups operated primarily as an underground counter-culture in tension with both Palestinians and the Israeli government:
  • Outpost Expansion: Establishing small, unpermitted "shepherding outposts" consisting of caravans and livestock enclosures to block Palestinian access to vast swathes of open land.
  • Selective Attacks: Conducting targeted "Price Tag" rampages—vandalizing mosques, burning olive trees, cutting down crops, and throwing stones at cars. High-profile deadly incidents included the 2015 Duma arson attack, where a Palestinian family and baby were burned alive in their home.
  • Friction with Israeli Military: Radical youth frequently clashed with the IDF and border police when security forces attempted to demolish illegal structures or arrest individuals involved in nationalist crime.
What They Are Up To Now
Since October 7, 2023, the dynamic has fundamentally shifted from subversion to state-integrated mobilization:
  • Mass Community Displacement: Armed with weapons provided under emergency civilian defense distribution programs, radical groups have intensified harassment against rural Bedouin and herding villages. Over 1,500 Palestinians across dozens of complete communities have been forced to abandon their ancestral lands under threat of death.
  • Integration into Regional Security: Thousands of radical youth and outpost residents were drafted into regional IDF reservist units ("regional defense battalions"). Armed with official military gear, many now conduct patrols wearing uniforms, blurring the line between state military operations and vigilante actions.
  • Blockading Aid Deliveries: Groups like Tzav 9 organized physical blockades at West Bank border crossings (such as Tarqumiya), intercepting, damaging, and burning humanitarian aid trucks heading toward Gaza.
  • Political Empowerment: With far-right political allies holding ministerial roles over police and civil administration in the West Bank, radical groups operate with unprecedented backing, accelerating the transformation of unauthorized outposts into permanent, state-funded communities.

"Crash out" = any time someone makes the Borg look stupid. You're the inhuman idiot who equated looking attractive to someone to having your citizens being bombed, raped and kidnapped, and you thought you nailed it. You should be forced to sit this one out, spanky.

"Doing horrific things" ... like invading their country, killing children, raping, kidnapping ... those are the things Israeli's neighbors do, and which causes Israel to retaliate. You know, Israeli's neighbors - the same folks who produced the people who kill Americans and cheer about it. Those are your friends now. That's who you support. But, you know, you'll just whisper that America deserved 9/11, and then pretend you didn't say it. "Well, well, well, if it isn't the consequences of my own actions."

You’re quite literally making the same argument for the Israeli settlers that you had a melt down on page 1 discussing.

“Those Muslims deserve it because other Muslims are doing bad stuff”

You’re being very emotional right now. I suggest you take a minute to step back and reevaluate why you’re melting down so embarrassingly.

"Other Muslims"

"Bad stuff" = killing and raping

You're the absolute buffoon who equated looking sexy in someone's eyes to having your citizens killed on a regular basis as the "victim" threatens to end your existence, and has acted, repeatedly, to end your existence. You failed. Give someone else a chance to not look monumentally stupid.

fskillet say:
"Excusing away a rapist raping by blaming the victim for looking too sexy is the same as excusing away Israel attempting to gain tactical advantages against people who are actually raping and killing them. Victim shouldn't have looked sexy, "victim" shouldn't have raped and murdered. Totally samesies. Crash-out!"
